Subject: Trade/PR/patrol mission through Bering, Kansas, and Pennsylvania

Several days ago, we had secured a surprising quantity of rum from several destroyed Hacker and Outcast vessels in Inverness while having a chat with an errant exiled Outcast.

As such I joined the Damocles, Lieutenant Chase, and Fleet Captain With on a mission to reestablish a presence in Bering. There we offloaded most of the captured rum, ran into a Freelancer named Alex Martin and had a short conversation before moving on.

From there, we headed to Kansas, said hello to the DSE and passed the DSE)Sierrita some of the remaining rum, and headed out to Pennsylvania. The helium miners there were glad to see us, as Rogues have been plaguing the area lately, and the Navy hasn't been effective at clearing them out. I dueled one such Rogue, who was silent, painfully ineffective in combat, and apparently suicidal, since he tried to crash on Tyrone to get away from me. The remains of his ship are in rapidly decaying orbits. After that, we returned to Hesperia.

Unfortunately, my guncam went on the fritz and the images from the patrol were corrupted. The techs here at Hesperia have replaced it, but for this report I'm forced to use footage from the Damocles rather than my own fighter.

Report Begins

While I am sure the Lord Commander has been informed before I even got out of my ship, I am sending this to clarifiy, that the grasshoppers known as "Gaians" dared to enter our system today. Their intentions, unclear, they started to shoot just before we could find out. While their effort seemed almost admirable, their stupidity to dare to attack us in the first place .. kind of pathetic. Anyway, they have been dealt with, every single one of them, should have been a clear message.

Report Begins

Last day I've recived a call in emergency. Was time to get dressed and catch the ship's commands to bring it to the lanes. Working alongside Sahega in the gunboat and Lancaster in his fighter, we found a bunch of 5th. Vessels escorting a gunboat, the same model as Sahega' one.
The fight began. I got not much to do at the beginning till another guardian showed up, in the name of John Armada. There is where Sahega got rid of the gunboat on his own (an excellent job, needless to say) and where I actually had to invest on shooting. In the mean time, Sahega met Hesperia on a fast run to bring his fighter, which got a cam mounted so he could record the brief incoming fights.
Mike Anderson went down first. He wasn't fast enough for my fast shoots. Armada next, offering him a fair duel. He ended up in pieces after the Razor shoot made two ships from one.
Back to Hesperia reaching the cruising speed, and not much more to tell. Closing.

Subject: New York, California. Aftermath

Report Begins

The day started with a quick patol in California. Flying the Azure wing, concretely the Azure One, I met Sahega flying the Battlecruiser outside Hesperia, so we escorted it out of the asteroids aside with Steve Athanas and Courtney Vargas. Not so long after reaching the lanes we crossed ways with a supposed Bounty Hunter named Nathan, flying the "Orca" gunboat class. He remained silent even though we tried to contact with him. He somehow communicated in private with Sahega, adressing her with a few misunderstanding words. Sahega decided to open fire, while we had nothing else to do than observing the hunter ship sinking and firing desperately his guns reaching not more than the empty space. Vargas finished her patrol.

We moved to New York, camping the Pennsylvania gate. Quite a few traders crossed the gate and some mere freelancers, when two hunters arrived. Another Orca class and a "baby" hunter flying a Stargazer. No measurements were taken by their presence, as they showed a non-hostile behaviour.

Reaching Norfolk, a cloaked Dreadnought ,the Iowa, threated us slightly forgiving who we are. Sahega fought him alone, flying far above the lanes. After quite a long time, Azure Two showed up flown by Dagon, meanwhile two Navy agents, one being John Sader and the other some Liberty Navy fighter arrived and engaged the snub wings. Iowa shot the fighter wings as well, so we had to break off and engage the Dreadnought. You can imagine what happened next. The Dreadnought suffered an entire decompression, exploding in pieces.

The situation got messy right after that. Even though I managed to put out of duty the Liberty Navy agent with the antimatter cannon, two more Navy appeared to help the lone Sader. One of them, a skilled shooter flying the Gold Seven wing from the Liberty navy, and the other a mere Indie fighter who got annihilated by a Mortar gun shoot from Sahega. Both Sader and The Gold 'gent were mostly running to avoid our hits. On the mean time, Sahega flew fastly to Hesperia to bring her fighter and balance out the fight. She was arriving when I hit the Gold wing, again with the Antimatter Cannon. You see this gun doesn't leave range for mistakes.

Following John Sader to Pittsburgh, another navy agent showed up on his guardian, and right then another Bounty Hunter flying the Bottlenose class with the desire of taking us down. Surprisingly and after all the mess the Azure wing took down the gunboat without problems, and brought Steve Athanas back to Hesperia, who lost his ship fighting bravely against the agents. Sahega stayed and fought them, and as far as I know she destroyed them without a scratch.

After the long day of work, I setted the autopilot to Hesperia and rested my bones.

Closing.

The kills missing weren't taken on screen due to our cam' malfunctions. New ones are already requested.

To all Legionnaires,

Lord Commander Locklear, currently facing a trial for crimes that suspectedly were commited under his command, contacted the High Command yesterday with orders.

He will not return too soon. By his command I will be acting Lord Commander for the time beeing.

Once he returns he will take command again. I trust the trial will end in his favor.

Stay strong Legionnaires, we all owe him to keep up our work to the best of our ability.

Report Begins

Today's patrol started in Kansas. A Commune pilot has been spotted under callsign (C~Jack.Light. We followed him to Pennsylvania system, where our auxessian allies took care of him. I split from the group and patrolled a different part of Pennsylvania, near the Allentown base, where I spotted a pirate bomber. I didn't really have time to say anything, because he was a bit aggressive and opened fire on me. I took him down pretty quickly, but it was long enough for the rest of the Commune to come and attack our patrol. Luckily, every Commune pilot got shot down without a causality on our side. Patrol continued through the Hallam nebula in Pennsylvania system to the New York. We ended our patrol at Fort Bush, under pursuit of two Liberty carriers, one Liberator, Liberty light fighter and a Guardian, Liberty very heavy fighter. That's everything to this patrol, I hope other patrols will go better than this one, although the process went good apart from the end.

Report Begins

Lieutenant Hayward, Fleet Admiral Derek Smith and I undocked from Hesperia outpost in California system. As we approached to the lane, we hit three navy officers, everyone piloting a Guardian very heavy fighter. Luckily, we were able to take them down, except one, that flew away. We continued in New York system, where we encountered Liberty battleship LNS-Warpsite at west point. It flew away too. Last system was the Pennsylvania system. There was a Maquis called Dominique Nee following us to have a chat. He told us Maquis are having a bad time in Gallia and he's in liberty to find people who are willing to join them. Apparently, there aren't much Maquis left, so they desperately need allies. Then a gunboat came and broke our party, me and Fleet Admiral Derek Smith flew back to California and Mr. Nee flew his way. That's where our patrol ended.

Caleb here. I went on a patrol of Vespucci and Kansas last night, looking for any hostiles. Didn't find any, apart from some no-name Rogues and Gaians here and there. There wouldn't be anything to report from the patrol, except I ran into the Eidolon Wraith and an IRG vessel, both making scans of Wichita.

I was surprised Raven wasn't on the Wraith, I thought she commanded it full-time or something. Instead it was run by a "Venator Ipaxator".

Anyway, we had a lengthy chat about the Commune and their raids into Kansas. The Auxesians proposed setting up a sensor net to monitor the critical parts of the system, and I let them know that the Legion would likely expect full access to any sensors they set up in our territory. The full logs are attached.
