Dont know about the rest of you but I worked hard for my ship and my money, I definitely dont want to do it all over again.

Your quite wrong, new stuff like faction, ships do not require a player wipe.

I actually quite like the idea.

I think it was something along the lines of any new reputation/faction means a character wipe is needed.

I think it'd be cool if a larger Coalition presence was in Sirius. What do you guys think?

I like this idea too. Since the Coalition pushed the Alliance all the way back to Neptune (I think), and even developed Jump Gate Technology first, it should make more sense for the Coalition to move into Sirius before another Alliance ship does. Afterall, running away from Solarium was an act of desperation on the Alliance side...

Just my feelings on the matter.

Whether we are due to a wipe or not, if there will be a French house and tag, so should the Coalition be represented in equal terms.

I like the idea... although I'm of the opinion that the French were on the Hispania with all sorts of Romance-language speaking nations, since none of them had control of enough resources in the Alliance-Coalition war.

However, nothing says a whole House here. My prediction is that it will be an exploratory fleet. A whole House requires a police force (Gendarmerie;)), military (or the French equivalent of what real countries call militaries) and various corporations and criminal factions.

I'll wait and see how it is presented, what sort of ships they fly etc etc. Personally, I would prefer to see the Coalition nations, but I recognise that I may have a slight bias here and I'm looking forward to seeing what Igiss has come up with.

There's also the off-chance that Igiss is having a joke at our expense. That'd be hilarious.
