Civilian ID - Admin clarification needed

As the title already says.
I still have a Starflier and a friend of mine found an old Civilian ID. I know I would have 1% powercore nerf but on a Starflier it doesn't matter anyways.
My worry is, can I even still use the civilian ID just for this Starflier, nothing else. Not that I end up sanctioned for a funny idea...

I own 2 of these ID's and I was going to use them for personal [Bank]'s and Armory's but I am unsure myself. Confirmation on these "Rare" ID's and Ships would be nice, like if we can use them for a RP thing or if we can't use them at all.

Yeah, I think there is a post somewhere about the topic, from what I remember if you use them in an RP environment then you can be sanctioned for having effectively no ID at all.

If the ID states that it has been discontinued, you are effectively flying without an ID for the purpose of the server RP environment. The only place where there would be no practical issues with this is either Bastille or Connecticut - the of our systems where RP rules are not enforced.

However, if you want to be completely technical about it, please refer to rule 4.4 and stick to it.
