Will both the new and the old faction retain the same diplomacies for the present? Hopefully the status with the GC will be unaffected towards either. Either way, it will be good to see a proper Blood Dragon faction. Good stuff.

I'd like to see the Dragons a bit friendlier with the Order, actually, even if they're annoyed at their old buddies chumming it up with Corsairs...

Yeah, definitely. So, if the Hideyoshi's Guard is now the true Dragons faction, what's NovaPG?

NovaPG are an unofficial "remnant" faction, I believe.

anyways,
I need to read up on this Kusari thing... I thought the NovaPg were pirates, and now they guard the Emperor? I know I'm missing something...

No, the Shogunate was displaced a few centuries back to form the Empire, and the last ruling Shogun's guards fled and formed the Blood Dragons, swearing to reinstate the Shogunate and later vowing to release Kusari from Samura's vice grip. These chaps are the descendants of the original bodyguard of the last Shogun, a bloke named Hideyoshi.
