Well, after reading through maybe 17 - 20 pages of opinions/jokes/Igiss' hints/beer requests, I'm starting to think I'm actually looking forward to it.
Won't judge until I can see the final project. But, I do remember somewhere that in Starlancer the remnants of the French/Italian fleets that were destroyed formed up with Hispania, which is why you see a more Italian Malta. Though I haven't been able to find any French hanging around Crete. (Possible reason for a French house?!)
Also, the Canadian/US border is the oldest undefended border in the world. Why? We're waiting in secret, and are planning a mass invasion of the Canadian oil reserves. So, in advance of the first strike force, I'm taking this thread back for the Union.
