Backstory:

Across Sirius there are capital ships captains and crew who, for whatever reason, have been driven away from their home faction. Military and pirate alike betrayed by their command or driven away by carti crazed commanders or nomad infected officials. Up to now these ships have wandered space friendless, eking out a living any way they can, and getting repairs and parts to keep their deteriorating hulls and equipment running from the Junkers. They almost always end up destroyed as their condition deteriorates and repairs get more difficult.

The Junkers weren't blind to the fact that they also lacked capital ships of their own, so it was only natural over time that these lost capital ship captains would end up doing work for the Junkers in exchange for support. As this relationship strengthened, it became more or less official and the CSW was born.


Requirements:
Must have an active forum account.
Must be willing to role-play a Junker.
Must be willing to take orders.
Must be willing to roleplay your cap ship as a ship that is not in pristine condition.

Start with your backstory, how you happen to have turned your back on your home faction and fled with your ship and crew, or happened to aquire a ship and crew some other way.

Explain why you want to join the CSW and give up the freedom you have.

Tell us why you would be an asset to the CSW.

In early on a new faction with good RP potential and a wide area of influence across Sirius

Tagging and Ships/Equipment:

All characters start with [CSW] followed by either the ship name for cruisers and higher or the captains name for gunboats and anything smaller.

All ships must have a Junker ID and a Junker tag, and must remain fairly neutral to most factions.

All ships up to cruiser and all equipment can be used, provided you have a backstory to support it. To simulate the ship being in less than optimum shape and repaired with scavenged parts, no armor multiplier greater than 2.5 is allowed, and turrets and weaps should be mixed, with some basic turrets included, and should be a less than optimum mix.


Organizational structure

The Junkers are not strictly structured, and there are no official ranks or titles.

If these captains are willing to further the aim of the Junkers I welcome them.

However if these ships want the services of the ship yard in Puerto Rico they better be able to identify themselves as true Junkers not some Admiral running from his home.

I do not care what another Junker flies as longs as he/she is a real junker.

Also its not wise as a Junker to attract to much attention and this will attract alot of attention.

I.. I don't have much time. My squad and I were caught in system AD 2101 and a fight was begining. It.. It all happened so fast. Someone set us up the bomb, wiping out most of the fleet. Only my Outcast Battleship survived the explosion. We quickly recieved a signal from the attacking party, who informed us that we would certainly be destroyed. For great justice I launched our fighter wing, but.. But I had to withdraw!

*breaks down into tears*

I thereby commit my Outcast battleship to roam the stars forever more out of pure shame and various other ill defined reasons.

Junkers are the glue between the crims & big business. We are the universal fixers & if we fleece the odd Indie transport no one really cares. Sirius is the cruel big empty, and you can make a killing if you pick your marks well.

Drifting about in Gunboats places the Junkers under an unwelcome spotlight and thats bad for business. So brother, dont expect my support, as your ideas are proving about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Hail to you, sir. I am the captain of the Outcast Destroyer Drax, with my direct allegiance to the Liberty Rogues. You may perhaps have heard of it. I will keep this brief, but suffice to say that although I operate independently of any official organised structure, I do not feel the need to join this organisation. What does it offer me? I am already chased by the corrupt scum that enforce the laws in Liberty, but I have permission and free reign within Outcast territory for repairs. I achieved this state of affairs by the simple expediency of registering my vessel and asking permission from the Outcast authorities on Malta.

I strongly recommend, even to those independent captains who consider themselves of a lawful inclination, to try asking permission and registering your vessels with the appropriate authorities. This will solve many of the issues you feel face us. I hope this advice is of some use to you, sir.
