Considering that we only had 3 unofficial servers who had a ping between 300-500 (Australia, China, USA) this change won't affect at all the main server it will only affect those who could not play here due to high ping GG

I would really like to know about some of these numerous reasons. This seems to be a little thing that yet possibly messes up the things of some other people.

Gotta admit that I'm really not with the staff in this one, yes I know not many people go to those servers but I did see people go around and have fun in places like the Chaos rp server that had things like less restrictions on ships and weapons that made it a fun distraction when this server fell on it's face the few times it did.

This just feels unnecessary as you could just have them not show on your list if you did not want them to.

Your server will not show up in the server list, even with the Show Unofficial Servers function turned on via the launcher. To make your members connect to your own server, you will need to provide them with instructions on how to add your server's IP address to the forced arguments section of the launcher.

Like @sindroms says , you need to contact server owner , he will provide you with its server's IP address which you will simply copy and paste in to forced arguments in your game launcher .
Really nothing hard there , just a 5 second job .

We will have a lot of more questions like this , it would be wise to make Separate tread where all server owners will leave its server's IP address , so that players can enter them to forced arguments in their launcher without a lot of hustle .
Some short tutorial how to do it would be good to

Finally. I am only less than 2 month here and already tired of those servers appearing in the list, with 0/1/2 players online.
Even better, is there any chance to make a switch/button on the launcher that says:

- "Go straight to Official Disco server", so when i click "Launch Game", my next interaction would be to chose character?

Or, OR, you switch the "hide unofficial servers" option so that doesn't happen anymore.

What you said is already solved, no more unofficial servers. What I don't want to do is:
1) wait animation
2) click Multiplayer
3) click YES
4) click LAN/INTERNET
5) wait server to appear
6) click the server

its ultra annoying and time waste, it should auto-connect to Disco and as I said, after "Launch Game" I should be selecting the character already, no stupid steps 1-6.

Find its site, there it will say the IP, put IP in the list together with official IP as a parameter.

Or just play here on official server.

I'm a bit sad about losing the other servers when it gets a bit rammed on rp it can be a bit of fun on the other server's however can anyone explain how to paste into the forced arguments on the launcher? i can't get it to work.
