There are still 28 free slots. Then, taking the 6 'doubled' members into consideration, it still leaves 22 free numbers to pick. Furthermore, the lottery got posted yesterday, with it's deadline being at thursday:

you can sign up until this Thursday

It leaves only two days to actually sign up.
Additionally - with the special rule of being member of this community for at least one year - it limits the total amount of people being capable of registering effectively.

To sum up, if we took everything listed above into consideration [along with the average activity our server has atm], the limited amount of claimable numbers would actually make sense. After a short brainstorm. Hereby, I find your argument invalid.

Even then, the lottery belongs to @sindroms and anything regarding to it will be done by himself. That's why I haven't removed the 'doubled' picks. The time will tell whether you can or can not pick&lock finite amount of numbers.
