Ma'am,

My first patrol since I been back on part time duty, I took my Avenger Fighter-class into California to patrol the western front of the Republic, where my codes for the lanes were reading something unusual. A Deep Space Engineering pilot was hauling "Sealed Containers: Liberty" and if I am not mistaken, these are seen as contraband for all pilots apart from Liberty Navy and Liberty Security Force due to the content within.

The pilot was acting very shady and kept finding excuses to wiggle their way out of the situation, they also then attempted to fly straight into Planet Mojave. All the evidence regarding this situation will be attached at the end of my report. The Deep Space Engineering was piloting DSE)B-747.Dreamlifter, which was a Mastodon Liberty Transport. The evidence will be able to explain the whole situation.

Once I had finished dealing with the pilot of the Mastodon, I moved into the heart of the Republic, the capital, New York. When I arrived I was receiving comms from one of the 404 Security Agents informing me they where busy dealing with a Wilde Gunboat. This made my spine tingle and shiver, I moved to their location immediately, when this gunboat was firing upon Navy, Security Force and civilians so I had to move in and open fire. It was later destroyed, but being in the capital was a sight I haven't seen in a long time. Again all evidence will be uploaded.

Recruit officer Paul Morgan reporting patrol in New York and Texas systems. At Colorado gate I spotted a ship of unidentified class,
apparently Gallic origin, carrying fugitives. Captain ignored my warning and set off to Texas system, according to TLAGSNET readings.

I pursued the ship to Texas, then lost them. However, I met Junker gunship vessel with 7 Xeno pilots on board. Junker captain agreed to hand over the criminals. I delivered the Xenos to Huntsville prison station, as LPI protocols suggest. Then I transferred other criminals in my custody (specifically, 2 Outcasts and 2 Lane Hackers) to Sugarville.

This is all I have to report for today.

Recruit officer Paul Morgan reporting patrol in New York. Today's one was tough. Right after exiting Manhattan docking ring I got three red contacts: 2 Outcast dreadnoughts with smartly paired callsigns Smith and Wesson, and Waran bomber piloted by a member of known terrorist organization The Commune, callsign Assassin-3. Enemy was under heavy fire from Liberty forces, but hold their positions.

It seems that in the course of the fight Outcasts managed to capture a number of Liberty law enforcement personnel. They started to threaten to execute them unless a ransom is paid. Details are in the attached communication logs and guncam shots.

Me and Navy pilot Wingman Shadix, also flying light Liberty fighter, were at the scene but unable to turn the tide of the battle. I reported the situation on the LPI emergency frequencies for New York system and set off to intercept and redirect civilian traffic away from Manhattan. Navy pilot stayed to maintain scanner contact with the enemy and track their location.

I took route from Manhattan to West Point, then Norfolk Shipyard and Fort Bush. Upon arrival to Fort Bush, Wingman Shadik informed me that Outcasts changed their position and headed towards Jersey Debris Field. I suggested that they plan to seek shelter with Junkers at Rochester, and proceeded to the station.

It turned out that my assumption was correct. However, at that point Assassin-3 broken formation with the capital ships and assaulted me. In short combat my Liberator was outgunned and severely damaged. Navy pilot picked up my escape pod.

Although most of the guncam footage was damaged along with my craft, I recovered one shot that serves as evidence that suggests that Outcasts are using Rochester as a base for their operations in New York.

I undocked from Westpoint Academy station around 6:10am Standard Sirius Time. I proceeded to Norfolk station, then in a circle route and to Pennsylvania jump gate. In trade lane from Westpoint Academy station to the jump gate to Pennsylvania, I spotted Outcast gunship, callsign Blackadder. It seemed to also spot me because it quickly disappeared into the Badlands.

I continued my patrol and read a ship equipped with Rogue Cruiser weaponry in Colorado trade lanes. Me and LNS Plymouth Rock pursued it into Texas system. It was identified as Liberty Rogue Scylla destroyer, callsign Johny. It was delayed by freelancer Misfit in the lane to Houston and we got visual on it. I made an attempt to apprehend the captain and his crew, they let me into airlock, but then refused to come with me. I retreated and decided that we need to destroy the ship. Plymouth Rock did excellent job and gunned down the offender.

After that, I returned to New York system and docked at Norfolk Shipyard to complete this report.

Subj: Concerning situation, the Fifth Fleet.

I've run into a bit of a problem with the Fifth today. They were defending an Order primary fleet agent who I had ordered to leave Liberty and then attempted to escort out. The operative then ran away and I managed to catch her near Rochester, where she was assisted by an Order gunboat. They then started attacking me without warning.

Once I issued a call for backup, the 5th came and instead of assisting an officer on duty they "ordered" me to stand down, at which point I left and informed them that this incident will be reported.

I would like something to be done about this, if not I will attempt to contact someone inside the Liberty government on my own.

It's been an interesting few days. First we saw some action in the California and Magellan systems where we worked alongside the Navy to defeat a Gallic Incursion. Deputy Chief Dawn was present for both of those actions and will have a more clear understanding of that situation than mine. More inline with our normal work, I was doing a routine patrol, when I stumbled across a sorry excuse for a smuggler attempting to move Sorted Artifacts through Liberty. I intercepted the smuggler, callsign Kayagi, who refused to communicate, and subsequently opened fire on one of the Navy Logistics vessels. We destroyed the transport, confiscated the contraband and returned to our normal patrols.

There was a brief encounter with an LSF agent named Amanda, who seemed to be using Nomad equipment. One of the ESRD was on site and I leave that mess in their capable hands.

It's been a fairly eventful few days in New York, and two of the recent events warranted a report. First was Deputy Chief Dawns interception of a Serenity carrying a small amount of Cardamine who claimed to have retrieved it from a shipwreck. On further investigation I believe the wreck in question was not found within Liberty borders. The second note worthy event was an encounter with one Jimmy the Rat. I caught this one attempting to sneak through the debris fields south of Detroit while carrying a shipment of weapons.

Both smugglers were fined and the contraband destroyed on site. Another day in the Republic.
