Kicked every time after character select?

The title is pretty much self explanatory...

I just did a full re-install of the game after a looong time away from Disco. Everything seems fine except the fact that i just created a new character, tried to log in with it and i got kicked out after 5 seconds. I tried logging again, same thing... and then again and again the same thing...

Any ideas?

Do you get kicked for cheating or is it another thing?

Not saying you cheat, that's just the message that pops up.

Maybe admins can solve that. You can't have cheat-kick as you re-installed the game completely.

Getting kicked right after character selection screen normally has a case of triggering the anticheat to go off and kicking you in the process. Otherwise getting to the character screen in general normally has an issue with lag. Are you sure you did a full re-install? something might be out perhaps.

Perhaps there's something i'm missing. What could be a fake-positive cause of the anti-cheat system kicking me out?

An old file i might have somewhere from the old install that might be corrupted... or the firewall, antivirus, anything else?

Edit: Regarding what I am being prompted by the game: it says i lost connection to the server... http://imgur.com/a/oGYz8 although i am entirely sure my internet is working just fine, and I'm assuming the server is ok too.

The fact that you get past it but get kicked immediately while the message "Your IP is banned. Contact the administration." comes up, you might as well. Unless one of them comes here speedrunning before that.'

Also - i think i may know what happened. I must've logged in by mistake using one of these old shared accounts [which apparently was empty, hence my not realising it right away] and I can assume that if this account was banned or somehow involved in something like this, maybe it banned my IP for trying to use it?

Anyways, i'll post in the thread and see what happens.
