Well as some of u know my Gcard got fried week and a half ago, and today i got a new one, the shiny
nVidia GF9800GTX TOP edition. I was thrilled. Now at the shop they only connected the card but didnt install
drivers so they told me just to install em from disc, wich i did. Now i happily start FL, start playing and i see
it laggs like hell, like never before. So i exit, run 3DMark06, and i found i got ony 1334 points, and i had
8006 with GF8800GTS. So i download newer drivers from the net, and install, but nothing changes... They
only connected it at the shop, and i installed all the drivers.

What should i do to make the damn thing work like it is supposed to???? Please help!!

Maybe the PCI settings of your mainboard were switched?

Or you could not have enough energy left to run that card.

Or...umm you should update ALL your components drivers (Mainboard, Processor etc.)

And you are sure all the power plugs were....plugged in correctly?

And did you download THIS driver? (Or its "Croatian" counterpart?)

Did you uninstall your old driver before installing the new one?

Open the start menu -> click on settings (I think it is called so) -> programs/software -> uninstall software

Search for "NVIDIA Drivers" and uninstall them.

It isn't all that uncommon to have some guy at a "Shop" put in the wrong driver or miss an updated one.

lot of times they work from old discs or limited background experience and they may have changed a board setting as well and not caught it.

What about the potential that your system isn't taking advantage of the abilities of your card? The 9000 series of Nvidia cards are still very new, driver support is still being developed.
