To introduce myself briefly, me llamo Valeria Moreno, I am a Maltese-born who has recently ventured out to Liberty, striving to earn money out of piracy and smuggling work. Today I wish to reach out to you because I have a request for something I know your group can provide to certain individuals.
During the last day I have been in Liberty, my spacecraft has been my home, yet you can surely understand that I would like to see this changed rather sooner than later. As luck would have it, I have got words from an acquaintance of mine, Señor De Luca to be exact, that your installation, the Alcatraz Depot in California, does offer accommodation for all various sorts of people who earn their living through piracy and smuggling.
I wish to ask you if you are, in general, willing to grant an Outcast like me a stay on said station. I have heard that people who rose from Malta are usually welcomed by your men and women, yet I wanted to ask you personally for an allowance beforehand to avoid any sort of unnecessary trouble. Better safe than sorry, says a proverb, si?

I don't see what ya' Maltese people find cheerful in our' place. Unpolite, smelly, full o' rats and som' skeletons, dust n' o' course a lot of booze. But man hell yeah, ya' lookd' pretty 'nuff aye... Está bien, I had already guessed that you lots were probably occupied - one way or another - and couldn't reply because of it. The delay didn't make my pilot seat any more comfortable for the last few days though. Right now any kind of bed would be more comfortable for me than my cockpit, I swear, even if it contains vermin like rats and so on. Believe me, such things would be issues I can handle with ease.
Todo bien. You aren't interested in the money then, I assume? That surprises me, yet then again, it actually does not. I suspect you are instead more interested in stuff you can use for a party, then. Is it the booze you lots are living for? If yes, I could probably get my hands on some bottles, Whiskey, Vodka, whatever you prefer, it would be indifferent to me.
On the other hand, there are a lot of things I could theoretically get hold of, so let me ask: What are you currently in need of? Good-looking women doesn't count, I'm not up for that.

Muchas gracias for my allowance to take up quarters on the Depot. You were in fact right, the rooms aren't what you would call to be in good working order, but I'm capable to live with it. Nothing is impeccable, and I am in no way to complain. Most of the rats have already been driven out though, they seemed clever enough to understand which meaning a gun in their face has, and the stinking skeletons have already been thrown out of the airlock. I hope you won't take it as an offence when I'm going to clean it up a little more in the future to fit what I'm used to. Si?
The delivery has been made by now, my ship is standing in the Alcatraz's hangar with a good load of Vodka and Liberty Ale only waiting to be transported to your local bars. It should make a fine addition to your collection, I believe.
