"Good, but the leave isn't optional. As it stands, I'm giving Allen the same treatment, since he's being so kind as to let me use the Omaha without losing his mind.. Go have fun or something.. climb a mountain, make a kid or something.. I dunno.."
She had a large smirk on her face, taking a few steps back and turning a bit. "Get it done, Nova.. or I might just make Allen's life hell.."
"You wouldn't dare mess with Allen.." She muttered, looking at her. "Wait, make a kid!? Damn you Murray, you're lucky I've already inviting you to the wedding.." She said, smirking at her, before harping at some operatives to get to work.
Nova looked over a datapad given to her by one of her men, shortly after approaching Murray. "All that's left is loading these stupid things onto the delivery craft. Bombs completed, ready for deployment. Now, what should I put into the list of Driva's charges? Aside from insubordination, that is." Nova asked, handing the tablet off to one of her operatives. "Oh, and don't you mess with Allen, and there will be no vacation, now I've got even more crap to deal with."
"Insubordination, conspiracy to desert.. I'm sure we can find more.. but I'm going to leave this to your people... not you.. your people.."
She reached forward and ripped one of Nova's patches off, stuffing it into her pocket. "You get it back when you hit three days without me seeing you here. And I have eyes and ear everywhere here, so I'll know.." She smirked, patting Nova on the shoulder. "And don't think you can fool me, either.. The timer resets if I see you before three days.."
"That ain't fair! You can't do this!" Nova stared down her superior. She had too much work to do to take time off. "I can sleep and relax when I'm done dealing with Taylor,
now give that back!"
"Should I hit you with the same charge? I'm sure you'd rather sleep next to Allen than next to Taylor."
She took another one of Nicole's achievement patches and ripped it off, the velcro making the same stereotypical riiiiip it always does. "Do you want me to keep taking your patches? I'll keep doing so until it says you aren't even 'Prower' anymore."
"Alright alright point made.. just give those back when my 'vacation' is over. And to ensure I stay away, I'm taking Allen to New Tokyo. Happy?" Nicole stared at the woman, feelings mixed between angry and fearful.
"Good. I don't care what you do, but I want to you just get the thought of work out of your mind for a while. Nothing's going to fall apart here without you."
She pats Nicole on the shoulder, then stuffs the second patch into her pocket before walking off.
"It won't get out of my mind, Murray, you know me better. You can try all you want, dear Murray. Phoenix is in charge of my division while I'm gone." She said, walking off, intent to call her brother.
