ok as the evidence shows it shows that he shot at me first supposedly to get my attention.....
if u are minding ur business an get shot at as soon at ur about to dock i\onto a trade lane when someone comes off of it with out warning is clearly hostile to me.
i dont care if its a countermeasure missle or a mine or anythign else that dmgs my hull or sheild , and secondly in the EVIDENCE it does not show me threatening anyone for that matter so how did i get bastilled for threatening ppl in pm?

For a start, firing a CD, at you, to effectively stop your Ship/get your attention, is not counted as an attack. This is what Police/Navy and Pirates will generally do to grab your attention. This is usually followed up by some RP (words). The CD allows time for the RP to come, otherwise you will disappear, in to the ether, before they have had time to type what they want to say.
Secondly, what you were saying in Local/System Chat (in blue), is against the Rules, namely:

could be construed as you threatening someone with a Sanction. (this was also said in Local/System Chat (blue) and therefore breaks the Rule mentioned above).
Now, you were CD'ed and before either of you could say a word, you opened fire.
You have been thrown in to Bastille to;
a) Grab your attention
b) To get you to state that you have read and understood the Rules that you have broken.
This was done because you are very new here. You have not lost any money/equipment, which would normally be the result of a Sanction, of this kind, because you are new.
So, please, take heed of the Rules, learn from them and move on.
If you want to still argue about this, then we can leave your Ship in Bastille. The next move is yours.

and i do understand now ... at the time i have just started playing an didnt know that being shot with a cd was not a hostile threat
an so i have learned my lesson

A ship from me was killed in New York by an other player. I switched to Cpt.Nemo (a trader) . I forgot that I have to wait 60 min before entering New York with any of my ships. Sorry!
