By what i remember its meant to be like a deep space miner thats able to support a small crew for sometime before needing to return to a base

Quote:The Spatial is often employed by mining faction, to explore asteroid fields deep inside the borderworlds. While being as large as some freighters, the Spatial sacrifices cargo space in favor of additional equipment options. Dual mine launchers and the ability to power a single bomber-class torpedo make this craft formidable, yet it's sluggish maneuverability and large size often leave it very vulnerable in combat.
The Spatial is capable of sustained flight beyond a system's heliosphere to an adjacent system, posessing the cold sleep and life support systems to maintain up to five persons for years of sustained travel

It looks way better than the current one, but what's up with that thing sticking out on the right?

I'm a bit curious about that asymmetrical aspect, as well. It feels like a shot-catcher to me, although I am curious as to what purpose it serves.

Either way, any new model which isn't the current gunship-sized fighter we have right now is a win to me, and this thing fits in nicely with the appearance of the Voyager.

Would the stats remain the same as the current Spatial, or would it receive a balance pass due to the radically different model?

Someone people in this thread suggested using the current spatial for a civilian gunship following the Eagle-line ("Vulture" Civilian Gunship, as was previously mentioned, for example).

Nevertheless, I doubt it would receive a balance pass, since they didn't do much stat-wise after the first spatial model change.

I really hope this makes it into the game. I would really enjoy travellign around in this beauty

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
