During a long lasting period of retirement in a nice Villa on Planet Curacao, I was not able to ignore what was happening around me. Closer to me. Closer every week. Gallic Ships have been seen all around, and *he sighs heavily* finally, Leeds has fallen. The borders of our Allies in Liberty are heavily threatened.

While having a Drink with my Brother, Commodore (ret.) Ryan O'Dukes, Chief of the Escorts of the Merchant Navy, there was something growing up in me. Even if I might have reached an age of almost 50 years, I should not any longer deny my valuable services to my beloved kingdom of Bretonia. It was my beloved Merchant Navy, who rescued millions of refugees from Leeds due to the upcoming Kusari / later Gallic invasion, and I had enough time to recreate myself from the mental wounds I suffered during the war.

Me myself, and also my highly decorated Brother as mentioned before, are willing to serve the great nation of Bretonia in BAF's active duty again, if you hve a need for some war veterans. We are ready to bring blood, tears and sweat to save our Empire from the Invaders.

You've been out of the loop for a while gentlemen, so we need to bring you back up to scratch.

Lord Hamilton, you'll be reinstated at the rank of Commodore, and I'm assigning you to command and control of Merchant Navy Operations. I understand you have some expertise there, so lets put you to work.

Mr O'Dukes, you'll be reinstated at the rank of Captain. I want you to assist Lord Hamilton in the reorganisation of the Merchant Navy. Get them running, we have a lot to accomplish.

Report to my office at 0800 hours. We'll discuss assigning your fleet, and any provisional plans you have then. If word on the street about you is right, this will be a temporary setback.
