Did you read the OP? The character is used because in terms of facial looks its the closest thing. If I could find a person in uniform, with the same sort of "look" I would use that. In fact, her hair isn't even what I'd use by default, it should be tied back like most women in the military have it. In most stories I describe her as having her hair tied back.

I can't edit what shes wearing in the image, so I have no real response for you there other than "its a part of the image".
