This is new recruit Rodrigo "El Cinquedea" Morales signing in. The mechanics just let me know that my trusty Sabre is destined for the scrapheap. They said some mumbo-jumbo about the wings pulling on the engine coils or something when they popped off. Damn Corsairs. Anyway, I'll be needing a new ship at some point, if necessary I think I have the scratch to buy another one. I have to help train some of the newer blokes on the front lines until we get a replacement (the old guy got shaken up pretty badly, he's been murmuring something about a "Malaysian Battle Spatula" for days now), which should be around Thursday if I read the schedules correctly. See you in space!
Sir, I'm presently on emergency shore leave due to an overwhelming amount of work to be done here. Hope I get out of this soon.

This is the first time I've even been on the forums for two weeks. I'm not going to be ingame much for a while, except maybe this weekend. I've had finals this week and summer school starts the 2nd. I'll do my best to get on now and again but I'm very strapped for time. I'm also going through one of those "Freelancer? Meh" phases, but it'll be over soon I promise.
To my leaders, I apologise for my long absence and hope that my new appreciation for a functioning ship will be adequate to make up for it. I'll be in space today and hope to defend our home once more.
