I actually don't remember rightly, but I think there was a thread about this. I asked whether it was applicable outside ZoI as well, and I got a negative answer. Humans should be able to engage Nomads anywhere, though.

This alleviates the situation, but the feature is still equal to admin-permitted trolling. Giving it to people who don't know, nor don't want to know, what they are doing, is as irresponsible as they are. It would be good if this was limited to special SRP ships, and not available to all Vagrant, K'Hara, Nomad indie, Das Wilde, Aoi and indie Wild ships.

Is this instant jumpdrive mountable on transports, by the way? Smile

Nomads don't have transports. It is also only K'Hara and Vagrant for now.

The Wild does have transports, though. And if I mounted it on a human transport, I'd get a nerf, but I wouldn't be sanctioned. Wouldn't even need a powercore to defend myself if I could just jump from one spot to the other instantly.

Why would you even think that convoy that was jump-pulled away would not be able to defend themselves. Such jump is already aggressive action, much like CD is and you are within your rights to defend yourselves.

As for the Vagrants, do contact Foxglove or me if you feel like it was abused. The last thing we want is that the thing we requested - for our faction - causes trollish harm to other people. To a certain degree I like the idea of kidnapping people, but maybe that only via random jumps and not to Major's Marduk spawn area.

Of course it causes trollish harm to everyone it interacts with. I dare say, albeit without ambition or exaggeration, probably decisively more trollish and especially harmful, than any other feature whatsoever that has been added since the beginning of the mod, except Red Hessian capital ships. I suppose the way it was implemented wasn't your original idea for this feature? What was?

Umm...ok. This sounds intresting. But. I just witnessed what it looks like actually. I was escorting a BAF|MN convoy in cambridge with a Navy GB..K'hara came. Np there. Sudendly i find myself in Omicron Major. Np It could have been intresting. BUT, after the guys who jumped with me as well got destroyed. The K'Hara decided to jump us again. THis time it is Omega-52. Still no problem there. BUT. He simply left like he did his job and left me more than 200K from the nearest anything... Don't want to be that guy but this is a really easily abusable thing. Something needs to be done with it. Because as we speak i'm still flying towards a fricking JH to get back to civilization
