i know im late to the party on this, but...

for the next edit, instead of having colours to represent bretonia, liberty, nomnoms, could you use shapes? triangle, square, circle, (filled/non-filled) to give us colour-blind peeps a help?

Hey! No worries, and thanks for the feedback - you're not late to the party at all, I'm still working on this. I both considered and tested this during early development for exactly this reason. I unfortunately couldn't quite get it to look/work okay at the time, but I'll gladly take a fresh look at this again now. Will hopefully be able to do a better job of it now than I could then.

Hey Error, could you add an option to turn off the background picture? No the wiki background theme (http://space.discoverygc.com/navmap/blue...pdCont.jpg), but the sirian map background (http://space.discoverygc.com/navmap/SiriusMap.jpg). Would be very helpful in order to add your own backgrounds (for faction pages, for example) or in my case to make sketch maps. I've currently disabled it myself by adding SiriusMap.jpg to Adblock, which works nicely, but it would be a nice-to-have option to have.

Another cool thing would be an option to choose what kind of connection shall be visible: None, jump holes only, jump gates only or both. Especially Bretonia looks funny without the gate network.

If you need up-to-date map info, just get FL Companion as it has a universe map with relevant stations located on it. It's up-to-date because it takes the info directly from the game, so if you have recently updated Disco, it will give you the most up to date map information through the most recent update of Disco.
