Ah, it's good to be home. The screaming of the damned is music to my ears.

Despite what you think of us, if I have occasion to make you or any of your associates dead, you will be awake, you will be armed, and you will be facing me, and me personally, because I am an honest woman. I have no need to hide behind any mercenaries or contract killers, and I am genuinely offended that you would compare me to them in the same breath. I mean, I know I'm not the easiest person to get along with, but even I have standards.

I literally do not care about the Freeport at all beyond the fact that it is was a convenient stopping point on the off-chance one of ours needs to moor there. Also, you're associating me with the same people who are somewhat... not exactly tolerated over here, too. Surprise, it's not us this time! We hate them too!

But let me make one thing unequivocally clear to you. I am perfectly willing to invite you over to my place so we can read over the ledgers together, because I'm fairly sure that the only outstanding bounties we have are against a couple Rheinland pirates and a few other idiots, and they're only in place so our guys can shoot them first out of sheer self-preservation. Lost Company isn't worth the effort to bounty, simply because our choice of conveyance can discourage the heaviest ships they can field with little to no effort, and anyone on the Freeport just isn't worth the bother either. Unless you want to further publicize those... fascinating accusations you've made against us without a shred of objective proof, in which case you'll suddenly find yourself suffering in ways you cannot imagine. Oh wait, you can imagine it. Imagine, if you will, being dipped head-first into a vat of boiling vinegar for starters. Then the things you can't, or don't want to, imagine ensue.

If you want to bounty the dicks in Lost Company, hell, I'll subsidize it. But I'll need some guarantee that you won't smile to my face and then plunge some dagger into my back like any random Junker or House politician would. We are not your enemies here, and despite your having been convinced that we're out to get you, well, we're not. At all.

On a side note, enjoy seizing all of nothing, and arresting all of nobody, but the symbolic "you're not welcome here" actually gives us a valid reason to go cause you grief. Were I a less generous woman, your accusations of us wanting you dead would end up being self-fulfilling. But if your associate is capable of feeling things like "having been insulted" and "self-preservation", her going Frankenstein like TITAN did would probably be a lot easier to contain anyway, so convey my apologies to her if I hurt her feelings, such as they are.

I'm going to humor you, mainly because I was, as I said before, willing to be lenient given your subordinates were less... flippant. I will be bringing my associates to wherever your domicile is, Armed in the coming days - but I want to inform you that I am not going to deny you the right to also be armed and bring your personnel along. I am currently away as a Diplomatic Envoy with Honya, and as such cannot do so right now. I will look at the ledgers for your company and see for myself if your words are true. If so, and if you are willing to collaborate with me and the groups I'm contacting in regards to placing the bounty on them, I'd be more than willing to discuss making Triple Hazard Pay's banishment shorter, and if it comes out favorably, annul it outright.

As for Bride, there's more to her as an AI then you might think. She could be called some kind of Frankenstein's monster, but to me, the people of this station and our friends and colleagues, she is just as human as the rest of us, unlike what that degenerate from Lost Company told her. Yes, she does have feelings, and since she's not directly connect to the Neural net for backup out of security purposes, she does have self-preservation instincts. I will convey to her your apologies and call off any pending hostilities from my end in the inter-rim. I will contact you within a week to discuss where to meet.

A routine audit came up.

Apparently no delegation was forthcoming and Teresa blames us somehow. Because I'm Senior Staff too (and also because Teresa's terrorizing some Mike Blackburn guy over something), I'm handling this now until such a time as she comes back.

Give me a time and a place to pick up your chosen and I'll read them the ledgers and whatnot, and we can get this whole mess over with. This is as good a time as any to put certain patently false accusations to rest once and for all, you can get some commerce, we'll have independently verified proof that we're not supplying, or actually are terrorist condottieri, despite that sounding like a cheesy action movie I'd totally watch, so you can rest easy about the kind of people visiting your place.

I'll be waiting for whoever you choose to send. I've got the records with me in my personal effects, so I'm flexible. I'd appreciate this being done with some level of discretion; someone failed to scrub their datapad before leaving the Concordia and until we've traced and analyzed every bit of data it's sent out, we're all on facility intranet, and I'm carrying hard copies. The results of me losing those to anyone or anything would be worth my continued employment, and probably most of my meaty bits in some place far away from prying eyes.
