We are a small band of Bretonian Patriots and Libertonian individuals interested in defending the realm against the current Gallic invasion. While you could say are not the cleanest knives in the kitchen, we are all sharp as a razors edge and willing to give up our lives in defense of the Kingdom of Bretonia.

Currently we have 3 ships at our disposal and through donations from private citizens and philanthropist have a war chest of close to 400 Million Sirius Credits. We also have access to a privately owned and legally registered station in the New London system, from where we can base our operations from, with out drawing attention to ourselves.

We have been mostly occupied over the last months in the resupply of the resistance fighters still on planet Leeds, and the evacuation of refugees from the planet. Almost everyone we pull off of the planet is looking for a way to get into the fight. Some too old, some too young, but all of them asking for a chance to exact revenge for the carnage and violation of Planet Leeds. We are not in short supply of willing recruits.

We humbly ask, that we have your blessing and unofficial recognition of our group, The Bretonian Privateers under the call sign |bXp|. It would go a long way for the moral of our small band, to know that our Queen smiles upon us, while we exact violent justice, by any means possible, against the Gallic Filth. We are willing to do any dirty job needed done till they are ex-pulsed from Bretonia and beaten back to the docking gates of Planet New Paris.

To whom it may concern,

By Royal appointment by Her Majesty the Queen, I, Lord Brigadier Sonya Callahan, am acting administrator for all things Privateer on Her Majesty's behalf. I will be your official point of contact, unless one of my officers is assigned to you.

My biggest question, is why can you not serve in the Armed Forces. Whilst you may not meet the requirements for active combat duty, the Armed Forces offers many civilian focused branches, such as the Merchant Navy, or the Royal Army Medical Corps? I ask, because a Privateer has to be ready to do unspeakable things, and is in a precarious position. Something I am concerned is a dangerous place for those you describe as not of age.

One more issue, I need a name if I am to post a Letter of Marque to you.

Rest assured, that we will not be using children in a war effort. Now, I can not say that we may not have a crew member or two on our ships that have lied about their age to get on board, they are within months of adulthood, but they are relegated to maintenance and mess hall duties.

On Leeds, I have reports of young men and women whom are leading their own resistance cells, and no one there is asking them their age. These are dire times, and from the looks of the activity at the New London spaceport, it seems more dire than the Bretonian Administration is telling its own people.

Is planet New London to be the next Leeds? Will our military and industrial complexes in this system be laid to waste? At the very least, the people of Bretonia deserve to be informed of its immediate future.

If you need to put a name to a face, I am Jack Brown. Proprietor of a small Pub near the capitols space port. I will be acting as the communications liaison. I am a veteran, I have done my duty against the Kusari and paid the price in blood and limb. You may call me One Armed Jack, as all of my friends do.

Elaine Dunn is our logistics and supply warrant officer. She is based on a privately owned station near Southhampton shipyard, what soon maybe the front lines of the war. She is also a war veteran, and had it not been for our unsanctioned operations in and out of Leeds, would have never made it out of there.

Our financier, and the individual in most part responsible for bringing unity to this group, mainly because he has evacuated most of their asses out of harms way in Leeds, when hardly any others dare make that trip I might add, is a Libertonian by the name of Frank Gambit. Whether he knows it or not, we all would follow him into hell if needed. Whether he knows it or not, we have elected to let him lead us. The many many friends and family he as evacuated off of Leeds, Elaine Dunn for one, has earned him our respect and loyalty. Most of all he despises the Gauls with heartfelt passion and a thirst for their blood on his lips and a dream of their heads at his feet.

As stated in our previous request, we are not the cleanest of individuals when it comes to our moral fiber. Some of us drink to much, smoke to much, some of us have criminal records, some of us have physical or mental ailments that prevent us from joining any official branch, ALL of US are willing and able to kill, rob and pillage and have the privately funded means to take just vengeance to the far reaches of Gallia if need be, all with the plausible deniability of the Crown for any of our actions. We will of course, advance any plans for large scale efforts through your office, but it would seem to be an advantage, to be able to deny our existence and any official connection of the Government to our growing band of cutthroats.

Bretonia is not in a position to pick and choose its friends, or whom it deems worth enough to fight for it. This is the moment in time to throw anything and anyone willing, at the Frog Bastards, and not feel guilty about the damage they may do to them. This is a moment in time where we need to do them in, before they do us in, simple as that.
