Hunt gestured to one of the seats st the table. "Security won't be an issue." He said in response.
"Kalh, allow me to introduce Captain Vex Upsilon of the Akhmim, a light assault carrier that sided with the Zoners when The Order attacked the Freeport and was branded a traitor." He'd point the new woman out in the room. "Now that most of you are here, and we're not strangers to one another, we can proceed." Hunt would say as he leaned back into his chair.
"Each person in this room has had their own experience when dealing with a certain, formerly heroic organization. We are all aware that there is something fundamentally wrong with their actions and behaviour over the past few years. They are very irrational, and a near-mirror image of The Core." Hunt would pause to let them acknowledge what he said.
"We are also aware that many people have tried to change The Order from the inside, and they've failed. Some have even died, to an attempted coup on their leader no less. That, as well as the actions and threats against civilians Sirius-wide should speak volumes about the stability of The Order." Hunt would pause yet again to let everything sink in.
"We believe that it's time for a different approach. One that will ultimately lead to restoring the Order of Cincinnatus to its former glory. This is where you, Vex and Kalh, come into play. One of you possesses the freedom to act independently, but is not strong enough to have a big enough impact in sending a proper message of defiance. The other," He looked to Kalh. "Is not so lucky to have that freedom, but has the experience and equipment to increase the noise of that message of defiance. All we need to do now is break his shackles, and spark the fires of rebellion against the idiot in the Omicrons."
"So, where shall we begin?" He would conclude his opening statement of the meeting. It was time to put the cogs of proxy warfare in motion.
*Jonathan takes a seat as he is introduced to Vex Upsilon, Jonathan eyes her up and down and wonders why a young Agent would even side with the Zoners and risk so much.*
You stole a Geb huh? *Eyes Vex* well, The Order is really loosing its fleet. Glad to see I'm not the only one who decided to take charge and leave a sinking ship. *Jon raises his glass to Vex.*
Leviathan, while my situation is important I think we should maybe leave the topic of my "shackles" last and hear what everyone else has to say and their grievances. With the Jump drive completed and successfully tested I am in a pretty good position.

Vex merely eyed Kalh back, though maybe not in the same befriending manner that he'd hoped for. "I didn't steal the Ahkmim.. She chose her own path, and that was the path of not siding with an egomaniacal mass murderer.. not to mention, the Order isn't sinking. She's still afloat in the minds of the loyal. Dream-rapists like Golanski are a cancer. One that needs a serious dose of weapons-grade chemotherapy."
There was an audible tone of dissatisfaction in her voice, which if one thought about it would be a little clear as to why. "Forgive my blatant distrust, Kalh. I've done my best to keep to Casper's word, as well as the promise he made to the colonies. Personally in my mind you're nothing more than a thief, but considering the fact that you're turning around and trying to do right, I'm inclined to take it all with a mountain of salt."
She took another small drink of her water, tanging her tongue as if there actually was salt in it, or a lot of sour powder, and setting the glass back down.
Nodoka chimes up. "The Order used to be an organization I could respect. One held in high regard by those who know its' true intentions. Well, what were, its' true intentions. Golanski and their chain of command have corrupted the Order with the sole purpose of challenging the Core, yet another problem in the Omicrons." Honya continues on from there, standing up from her seat. "Shepard spoke lowly of what Casper Orillion did, saying there was many unwritten things about the man - which sounds hypocritical, as they have a asteroid field in their home system named after him. The man and his predecessors in the Order of Cincinnatus have served mankind in Sirius greatly with their sacrifices. The fact that the Order has abandoned this in pursuit of a Tyrannical rule as seen with the Core is unforgivable. Their actions against their fellow humans are unacceptable given the threats that lurk in the darkness. Even as an AI in this nearly human body, I feel threatened by the Nomads as much as you all are. It is the Order's job to dissuade that fear, to cast it to the pits of hell, to eradicate said fear, and instill hope in mankind for a brighter future, just as it is for Auxesia. But yet, the Order's leaders engage in squabble and conflict with their fellow man, as do the Core. For too long Freeport 11, as well as the people of Sirius, have suffered with the Nomads left un-checked. If Michal Golanski and Sara Shepard, as well as their contemporaries, cannot realize that this fighting is only going to serve as to our demise, then we must purge the Order Overwatch and instill a new chain of command."
Honya continues. "We all come from different strides. We must put aside our differences for the common good, lest such good be vaporized by the threat that approaches." She then sits, and takes a drink of water, looking to Hunt.
Mind your tone, you know nothing about me nor the struggle I have endured and the sacrifices I have made for my survival. Unlike you I salvaged the Amenhotep from the War of Toledo, without me she would still be drifting along space endlessly. I have Courage, Strength, and Commitment. That Osiris you see outside the Andraste is mine, and mine alone. Any fool stupid enough to try and challenge that can meet her strength. The Order might have lent aid in repairing her and modifying the Osiris to become one of the greatest we have ever seen. That still does not take away who her savior was.
You speak as if you where the only one who had any connection to Orillion, My father served under him and his sacrifice made me who I am today.
So you can take your salt and shove it.

"I'll mind my tone when I'm dead, Kalh.. but I admire the fire.." she said, sitting up. "Consider my salt.. 'rescinded'.."
"Still, you haven't been out on the front against the lunatic and the mental-handicap brigade in recent months, or else you'd probably be just as pissed as, if not more than, I am. They may have helped you in the past, but I've never gotten such luxury. The man who calls their shots has been the harbinger of every single terrible moment of my life. You'll forgive me if I'm a little strenuous about this..."
The honesty in her voice was prevalent, genuine and likely how she was in public.
"Besides.. I doubt you know what it's like to stare up into the sky and watch a Guardian stare you and your family down."
Hunt raised a hand in protest to the spat going on between the two Order operatives. "Kalh, Vex, please. We are all on the same side, so for the time being please swallow your respective pride, and let the past remain in the past. The only direction that matters now is forward, because no one here is capable of time travel and we hardly have the time for this."
"The both of you were branded traitors to The Order for different reasons. The very root cause is defiance of your former leader. We all have our reasons to be here and we must work together if we're ever to have even an inkling of a chance to take this first step." Hunt continued.
"As Honya has said, the Order is corrupted. Some people have seen it sooner than others, such as Tantalus. Kalh believed his path to Liberty would ultimately lead to the confrontation of the Nomads, but Liberty has its own agenda as they always do. Combined with the Akhmim, the Amenhotep would be a beacon of change. You'd be able to sustain and rally more support than you would alone." Hunt paused to gaze around the room.
"Infighting now will lead to failure before we've even started. We are all vital parts of this meeting. You both need each other."

Vex nodded in agreement, eyeing Hunt. "Bickering and salt can come later... for now.. focus should be on the megalomaniac destroying what I hold dear.."
She took another sip of water, again tanging her tongue. ".. guh.. weird.." "Retorting against this guy will need more than just brute force and technological superiority. We'll need people, and given the amount of pull I can get around the Freeport.." She looked to Nodoka, nodding. ".. I doubt I can't find people that share the same opinion.. or can't be convinced of the truth."
"Adding on to that, I may already have a locale of focus to try and base it off of for the time being.. or if anything.. maybe a forward post for recon.. All depends on whether it's practical or not.. plus, I mean.. it was abandoned.."
"A centre of operations is the least of our concerns. It'd be a poor idea to have it in the heart of enemy territory. You would effectively cut yourself off from any support and be surrounded. You need something isolated and far from their reach. I have some ideas, but again that comes later. Once this is all in motion, you'll both be deployed to the Omicrons with Hanamura and Honya." Said Hunt.
"With the addition of a jump drive to the Amenhotep, getting away from Liberty has become significantly easier. The growing presence of Gallic vessels in the neighbouring systems provides us with an opportunity to perform a disappearing act, but to justify it happening, we require an ideal target that's willing to play ball..." He turned to Vex.

"I was merely speaking as a measure for the future.." she said, eyeing him back. She took a final drink of her glass, not liking the tang it's giving her. "If you mean me, then I'd like to hear exactly what you have in mind.. Personally, I've done pretty well staying out of Liberty, and I'm not too keen on going back in.."
