Mister Oberlander, I'm Tara Williams of The Seraphim. You are probably aware about our attempts to help with evacuation from Planet Nuremberg. We bring significant number of refugees to Planet Hammersee in Sigma-15. This location was picked by Rheinland government, but it doesn't seem very interested in supporting the refugees once they arrive to the planet. And the refugee camps require lots of supplies.
The Seraphim will send Sirius-wide plea for help in attempt to improve conditions for the people on Hammersee. However, for logistics reasons, we'd like to use Freeport 8 as a transit point. Suppliers will leave the cargo on the station from where The Seraphim freighters will take it to the planet.
This will require some storage space on the station, and our ships will have to use its facilities for refuel, maintenance and such. So I'm asking if you are willing to cooperate with us in this humanitarian endeavor and allow us to establish temporary base of operations on Freeport 8. Let me know if you have any conditions.

It has been a great deal of time since I have had the liberty speak to one of the Seraphim and I am sad to report that there is not an adequate Administration of Freeport Eight as Mr. Oberlander has retired, so for the time being I will handle such discussions.
The actions you are taking are indeed quite commendable, but in a term of bureaucracy, lackluster. I understand you wish to continue your actions to assist those upon Hammersee, but with Rheinland now in conflict with the Gas Miners Guild, it could bring possible issues. Out of the sake of getting to the point, if you are able to show me a transcript of permittance by the Rheinland Bundestag to continue your actions, I will have no qualms into creating the paperwork needed for a temporary lease as requested. I do hope you understand how doing so would cover both the Confederation and yourselves should issues arise.

Now, regarding your request. In fact, ignorance of bureaucracy on our side is deliberate. One of the goals of The Seraphim from the very beginning was to eliminate the red tape getting in the way between the aid and the people in desperate need. So, in most cases we respect the authorities, but don't let the lack of response from some department to stop us.
We formally informed Rheinland government about our activities, however, they silently ignored our request. I can't blame them, given the chaotic state of affairs with the evacuation. Looks like we are just too small to draw their attention, and, to be honest, I'm perfectly fine with that. We work below the radar, going directly to the people. This is much more effective, especially given that not all of our passengers are properly documented.
So, do you think it is absolutely necessary to get this confirmation? What kind of issues do you expect from Rheinland for helping their citizens on Hammersee?

Good day, Mr. Wingspan. I followed your advice, contacted police authorities and secured their consent to allow our mission land on the planet and distribute the aid. I admit that it actually took lot less time than I expected. Is this good enough for us to reserve some storage space on Freeport 8 for a month or two?
