How often did you Freelancer?

Thrice uniquely.

Twice on vanilla, once blind, the second after I looked online for strats.
Once with the cheap Osiris
Once with Discovery 4.84

The third one was the most satisfying to do.

Once I remember flying towards that black spot in Omicron Kappa hoping it may be some easter egg....

1 Time, as i noticed Capital ships are flyable in mods, it becomes impossible for me to play a second time.

My friend introduced me straight to Discovery, it did not even occur to me, that I could play SP.

I tried SP about a year ago, but stopped after few missions.

Lately I have less and less time to play, so if I can choose between SP and MP, I go MP. At this point mainly because I already have assets and friends here. Also forumlancing.

3 time vanilla I had to play when my step dad introduced me to the game when I was about 12, he said I could only play online if I finished the story.

Played it 5 times, first 3 vanilla, 4th with a mod that i wrote from scratch(just some ships and crazy nomads spawning all over) and 5th with crossfire. enjoyed 4th run most cause i ran the whole thing with a modified Osiris that had planetkilling torps, lots o missiles and beam guns!

20 times minimum, but it was probably a lot more. Seriously. I played it for the first time when I was 7 or 8, my dads friend gave me the game on a CD as I didn't have internet back when I got my first PC so I owned a lot of hard copies. Fell in love with the game at first sight, though it took me six months to figure out how to finish the first mission because I didn't know what docking was lul, and I had a lot of fun playing through the story so its a given I'll have a lot of runs.

I lost my copy at some point and was trying to find a place to download the game, hunted it for probably over a year (because I was a 11-12 y/o who just got internet in his home for the first time in his life), and once I finally found a proper full game DL I played the living crap out of the campaign again.

The better question is what is your fastest run through Freelancer campaign, I think Tachyon managed to speedrun it in less than 6 hours (could be 3 and a half but I'm not absolutely sure if that's possible, I don't remember the exact number). I did it in 7 or so but I might try to break Killians record if I can bother figuring out what wrecks I need to loot and what methods/guns to use when it comes to clearing missions faster. (nerd)

Yeah but the problem is you might exhaust mission requirement cash due to buying a lot of ammo which slows you down significantly compared to having the need to aim. (^:
