He’d had enjoyed this little presentation even with this passive aggressiveness of Nika who seemed to detest him for getting her though this. This was not a complete necessity but she has to see why he forces it on her. The more time they went into this little dramatic opera of theirs, the more he was convinced that she was consumed by an agenda. Set of objectives while in most entirety beneficial to the Family, a self-destructive objective nonetheless.

“I am not even going to try pronouncing their name, you have to excuse me for my linguistic shortcomings. They had very much paid the price of playing the game and unknowingly they picked a bone against a literal iceberg.”

They could had not hit worse. Even in diminished state as the local politics overshadowed the original mission, operatives were ruthless and resourceful turning their carefully honed skills into eliminating nothing expecting players in contest of dominance within the Bundschuh party. Underestimating their opponents lead to total extermination.

“The Family requires a proper line of communication. We are not self-imposed cultists of some sort preying on one another while trying to second guess each other… unlike what happened at the Rheinland coven, which looked more akin arena. The accumulated quota of deaths was unnecessary and done merely to fulfil egos and for what? We are in agreement that time was squandered there. This exercise here I am forcing you though is to formalize the expectations of our network. I am aware of your exploits, yet I waste time better spent on monitoring other threats that could be relayed to… you among other people. Witch’s failure to adhere to the tenets almost jeopardized everything. Your unit needs to be organized and communicate with other cells. I do not believe you are coming of the Second Witch. You are a Banshee. Prove me right.”

He hestitantly extended his arm toward her, staring with his highly critical expression. He was dead serious as all his pacts were not done light handed on his part. She would know that from his own career from whatever files she could’ve accessed back during her time with Order mainforce in Omicrons. Often to demise of those who belittle his hell-bent attitude when it came to enforcing terms agreed. His hand found hers and shook it, this time with full confidence.

“Ultimately it is the alien and heretic that have to be burned down to the ash. Anything that crumbles in the way of doing so is acceptable collateral damage. Remember that and we will get along fine.”

At least a minor victory. He had understood that she wouldn't be his subordinate anymore.
The progress was notable, but not exactly much. Not that she needed much at this point - it was more a question of if he did what she wanted, and that seemed to have been successful.
Content, she nodded and relaxed her muscles just a little.

"We have a deal. "

She stepped away from the hatch so he could leave the ship without trouble, carefully avoiding to step into the light. Slowly, she walked up to the hatch leading into the living compartment of the vessel, clearly indicating that the meeting was over. Before she stepped out, she turned her head, and mumbled quietly - even though she was certain he'd hear her anyway.

"Wait for my signal."
