I must apologize for our latest encounter's derailed convo. Some people just don't know how to let go. As in, that Coalition soldier lurking around, of course. In any case, if there's any way I could assist you, I would be more than glad to do so. And besides, it is part of my nature to serve people in need, unless it is an hostile-aligned asset.
It's fine - If anything, I know a lot more about the Coalition than I let on. Mainly because I encountered their predecessors first hand back in Sol. I know this is hard to believe, but I'm currently working with the University of Cambridge to get Geneological data from them so that I at least have something to point to other than just telling people without having to pull a armed assault of Oita on Planet New Tokyo out of my ass just to get the documents to prove it - Either way - The long story short is that I had to leave Earth because of them, and honestly, thought they would have learned their lesson about their arrogance and aggression long ago.
I was foolish to believe otherwise - Alexei, the Coalition defector you heard when we were talking to Krsnik, was right all along about these guys and I should have never put any semblance of hope in the concept that they would have learned. I guess that's just the part of me that wants people to change for the better, I suppose.. even though it is foolish half the time to put faith in that part of me being right.
Either way, I do commend your behavior in the face of his arrogance. I was disgusted a little with you instigating him at first, but then I saw he was just too easy to irritate, and his pastime seemed to be not being able to read the mood. I guess that's what they do to perfectly good people in the SCRA. Thank god Alexei defected at a young age.
Either way, We have a situation at Freeport 11 if your superiors haven't already alerted you - Commune may likely be coming to attack after things went south regarding a "negotiation" with them. You see, the dolts that the commune are, thought that not only could they try and turn the CoF and Freeport 11 against the Core and Auxesia, but get the K'hara to defend the station. I don't know what's more stupid, the former or the latter. The Former obviously, if not for the CoF as a whole having a say, would end with me declaring Freeport 11's independence - that and the K'hara can't be trusted to stay to their word - It's in their nature, what with the crap they get up to.
It appears that the Commune has indeed returned, for some reason. Pity my superiors have not told me anything about it. On top of that, I happen to have just witnessed my own Guildmisstress not co-operating with the Core Laws, which appears to be most odd. I thought she had made a Solemn Vow before she got granted that very position. My loyalties lie with the Core, and not with the coat-switching Maltese. In any case, if the Commune is actually going to get their hands on the station, we're done for. But know this, you have our complete loyalty and trust. Perhaps we could establish another meeting on the station to further discuss this topic, and possibly without any Coalitionists hassling around.
