The fact remains that we're not treasonous bastards and whatever Harmony chooses to make of your filth is up to them. Unlike you, we do not turncoat on our allies simply because we do not agree with whose company they keep. Unlike you, we do not attempt to use our allies as simple pawns to be thrown towards advancing our own cause. Unlike you, we do not first shoot a man in his time of greatest need (need we transmit you the numerous gun camera images we have stored of the Legion opening fire in conjunction with the Liberty Navy on the Seperatists in New Hampshire), only to shine our ego up like a used shuttle salesman and grovel when the mote becomes a champion? Are we truly fools for having principles, for believing in due-process, diplomatic rigour, the basic constructs of society; military and economic rigour? Are we fools for not covering our ships in gaudy spikes and loathsome baubles, for remembering our origin and sticking to its legend? It's you who is constantly ramping up the pressure with your pestilential disinformation campaigns and your strikes against our assets when you think nobody's watching. Then you cry like infants when your conspiracies are unveiled.

You shot up a recon flight, two cruisers, a civillian transport. Nothing you say has any consequence, none of it is true. You think yourself a puppet master. You're not fit to lick latrines. Your constant baiting and antagonism, use of espionage, use of false-witness, will come to a close.

You will deny everything to your grave. We know how men like you are. Without honour, without cause. Unfortunately your actions speak louder than your false rhetoric.

Every time you slip, every time the truth of the matter is revealed, we will be there.

We will live in the glory that we are not betrayers of our own cause. It is unspeakable the depths of your depraved dishonesty - yet you dare call us fascists? You dare? You dare cap your mouth to your own sphincter and compress, over and over, drowning in the filth of your own lies?

What can I say? Yer' done it now. Y'all can call the Unioners a great many things, but fools is the bullet that will break the skin. They're not fools.
They're cantankerous and paranoid, but they're not fools. They're bright enough to call a spade a spade, a crock of it, a crock of it.

The terms of the truce still abide, even in war. 'Cept this time, we'll uphold our end. You come to Bering? Expect to be attacked, because that's what we've come to expect from you at this point. Extrapolate that out to Texas and any other overlappin' zone. You come spreadin' mischief like a runaway muck-spreader on a Stuttgart collective again, and you're going to get a live round with just as little hesitation as you showed us. You and your Xeno gangbangers.

You made this problem for yerself and yer' going to have to dig yourself out of it. Shame, really. We could have achieved great things together.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to shed some light,

First of all, I am Major Fightmaster, the one that intercepted the Unioners that invaded Kansas and approached America Freeport with hostile intentions, but before I get to that, allow me to explain how things went before that incident. A mission report from Major Lewis concerning their presence in Bering, the Xeno and the Gauls.

Major Lewis Report

Please note that all of this comes from Major Lewis's report, I'm forwarding it on his behalf. My part comes now.

As I said earlier, I was the one who commenced the attack on the Unioner fleet that arrived just outside America Freeport in Kansas, without warning and most certainly; with hostile intentions. My wingman, Lieutenant Carter and I were confused as how to react to the situation when I received instructions from a higher-up that I am to engage the rogue* Unioners which were in violation of the agreement and in order to defend ourselves and our installations.

*They are to be treated as such as per the agreement between the Union and the Legion, section which states that pilots found entering either Texas or Bering without an escort, are to be treated as individuals acting on impulse and willfully violate the agreement.

My report follows along with logs and guncam proof.

Report Begins

Earlier today the alarm was signed off on America Freeport in Kansas. A small fleet of Unioners consisting of fighters, bombers and a cruiser arrived with the intention of "deep-recon" and not only, they also came with hostile intentions.

Command rushed to authorize the engagement with the Unioners in order to defend our installation. A little later on the scene, arrived a Kempetai officer, along with a Security Force pilot. Our spot was difficult as it was a 3-sided battle which our sides were greatly outnumbered in front of the Unioners so a temporary cease-fire was suggested in order to escape their blood thirst.

Soon after clearing up the bandits, the LSF pilot turned on us while the Kempetai vanished without us noticing. Needless to say, the Security Force is down one pilot.

The audio log was cut off short as a heavy firefight commenced between the three sides. The reasons we chose to shoot at Union ships first, along with our enemies were that a) we were outnumbered, b) we were outgunned. Anyone with a proper mindset will be able to see the reasoning for my actions, I only wanted to get us out of that mess alive.

Mister Weiss,

The point still stands, you gave us your word that you'd keep your affairs out of Texas and then broke your promise almost immediately. You began this endeavour seeking to regain trust and heal wounds. As a man of reason, I heard you out. But you didn't hold up your end.

Colour this any way you want and spew whatever you feel necessary, you went back on your word. The Legion will not tolerate such brazen dishonesty, had you kept your men out of Texas to begin with, we wouldn't be at odds right now. But what you did has sealed us into another conflict. Turn your head and point your fingers, but you and I both know it was one of your men that breached your own proposal.

I tried talking to you. It didn't work. Clearly the hard way is the only way left.

I'll brawl with rhetoric one final time. Not because 'Ah revel in it, but because you haven't figured out that yer' disinformation campaigns was what roped you into this.

You broke the terms of the truce multiple times by sending armed fleet actors into Bering. Freeport Two we'd have stomached - Pacifica? Whilst your Xeno wingmates tackle our defence wings, keeping us pinned whilst your fighters roam with abandon? That recon division did what it was instructed to do; served with distinction, pilot.

History knows who squeezed those triggers. It's even in yer' flight data recordings, and in ours.

We will fight you till you come to the status-quo that the Legion and the Union enjoyed for years enough. The same status quo the Legion was comfortable with until you started treating the Separatists like a prize truffle.

Dialogue's over. You know our position.
