I've always liked good stories in games and that part is well written. Maybe HL series is such a big thing for me compared to some other as technically impressive games.

You just can not dislike a guy who's between a rock and hard place. Somebody got to lick the alien arse in trying to save the human race:)Dr. Breen is a good quislingian character and pretty sharp and witty with his words on top of that.

And this one needs some background. I was flying through Bretonia when I found a Gaian, who promptly exploded. In his wreckege floated the escape pods of several pilots, so I figured I might as well take them down to Planet New London. I encountered this delightful fellow from the QCO in orbit and we had a wonderful misunderstanding.
