If you are going to prevent content for the sake of lore, have something to give the community instead. Balancing traderoutes a few cps here and there and altering a gun to deal two more dpm does not content make. I would love to update our ModDB site, but I have literally nothing to put there right now because there is nothing happening apart from the drone testing phase.

tldr- there should be more content ingame, we tried this with systems it wouldnt work but slowly adding more ships means there will be a variety of things to shoot and more replay ability.

capship duels are mostly pressing a+d and who can dodge better in a battle that lasts one hour or more, introducing new weapons or ships with new dynamics can change this.

i'm not a dev and i dont know how behind the screen mechanics happen, but stopping more content added into the game isnt always nice, reducing system was a great idea but lets give players more stuff and interaction possibilites to play with in the less number of systems available.

Missile frigates on other hand, may bring to Cap fights same "qq" we are all tired of hearing, because anyone will be able to rekt the "King of the Hill". The best part is the roleplay for the construction, something i had considered should be necessary for every cap (but obviously would be a real mess)

Someone suggested simple reutilizing Titans, maybe with a lesser armor than the event ones, could be a option too, and even the repairs could be on aswel, if dont cause too much fuss, I would totally make an RM logistics just to keep Big Green Boy 100% Hull, dont matter how inept our pilots can be.

Is a splendid idea, and can be very interesting *IF* happens. Obviously can also be a huge mess, and in such case can just die later.

Nice idea but i see flaws such as limiting to Official Factions. What about a SRP-Lite process instead of OF only? You must RP its construction sensibly and pay some hefty amounts of SCIDATA(could be a Tier 2 reward)! Then have your titan.

I think that frigates (both with missiles and turrets) in general would be a good idea for both militaries, unlawful factions and even to an extent civilians/unlawful indies/UOFs, Because let's face it, a Frigate would more or less be a more armored gunboat, more anti-cap oriented vessel, and even then, if lawfuls and unlawfuls can get their hands on, and operate a bustard, something slightly larger than a gunboat with a loadout mixed with Battlecruiser VLS cells and buffed Gunboat Cerbs would be perfect for small factions to use alongside bombers whilst still being in the world of reason.


As for titans, they should be a standard SRP request, and should have backing behind their construction and probably cost just as much as a Custom SRP Ship request or around abouts (750 million?)

I would love to see titan sized ships ingame, would make for a great challenge to take down, not to mention the event potential.

I think the biggest issue with Titan ships (assuming that they would be between the size of a Neph and an Ish'tar) would be trying to hit anything with them. Would they be intended for being massive battleship killers only? Or would they have center mounted turrets to try and counter-act their gargantuan size?

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing big ships in the game. But they should be practical on top of awe-inspiring. Perhaps giving Titans tons of missile launchers or, heck, a bunch of long-range flaks would fix the issue behind hitting anything smaller than a battleship? Bigger ships in my experience tend to be more difficult to aim with, which is likely why a lot of their weapon speeds are as high as they are.
