Yes that's what I'm talking about. Creating content for the time in between. Check what I wrote about the time and learning curve issue.

Please explain what is so unclear about faction tags like Ageira~ , Gateway) or Kruger| or any other that has full faction name in it? With your standartization it would look ugly. Instead of learning the game, you are proposing it to be suited to new players while shafting the majority of playerbase that is already involved and enjoying the game as it is. This is a fight against windmills. No online community bends so hard to appease clueless new players. If you can't be bothered to search wiki or forum for answers, you are already too high maintenance player

Sonny, back in my day, I had to scroll up and down in the Unofficial Factions List uphill in the snow both ways to find out what I wanted. I hate to fall back on "do some reading" or "ask around", but Discovery is built on interaction, and interaction always carries a certain amount of risk of Bad Things happening, but the only place you can get Good Things is interaction.

The THP| tag, which you included in your list, is short for The Hyperspace People/TITAN-Holt Products, and both of those are long-ass names in a 23-character limit.

Why yes, this is a very conservative community. Thank you for noticing. I hate to be that guy, but you should seriously consider just talking to people in-game. I guarantee you that if you're courteous and polite, people will be lining up to help you. If you have any questions, you can ask.

Time has already told us that such an old game and mod is alive and kicking despite there being better games all over the places. The roleplay and rather rare space-sim-shooter genre is a testament that things are working and are here to stay.

Time has told us for literal years. The system we have isn't perfect, and the tags aren't entirely clear, but the average community member is willing to help walk you through the game, in-game. Like, poke any THP| member for help, and I guarantee you they'll definitely help you, for example.

Tags SHULD be limited to ones that are modifications of basic , indie tags , those are easily enough to learn and memorize .
Example , basic LNS tag will only allow variations like [LNS] , LNS_5th , (LNS-6th) , while all other tags that show no obvious connection with default tag like 5th , 6th shuld be changed to match .
Even veteran players are lost in ocean of tags that have no clues to which house they belong , newbies will not spend hours in forum just to find out which house tag belong , heck , even veterans won't .

I am wondering why staff allowed such mess in tags anyway .

Because awfully looking tags might discourage players to create or belong to official factions. I would certainly not be in factions with horrible tags.
