I liked reading the metaplot (VTM, VTR, some general WoD stuff) from various sources, and I'm a big fan of the story and worldbuilding that goes into it. However, I don't see myself ever playing any tabletop games. The premise of sitting around for hours on end and rolling dice isn't very appealing to me.
Did enjoy the video game though. I heard there's a Werewolf the Apocalypse themed video game in the works right now.
Oh yeah! Bloodlines was a great game :)
I've got it buried on one of my externals & should go find it
Although, I was actually referring to the tabletop RPG
...but! speaking of Bloodlines, I noticed in the corebook that Jeanette & Therese Voerman were added into the overall cannon.
It made me happy :D
::edit- Chrys...Actually, I haven't truly played in a long time...It's hard for me to make the time, but it doesn't keep me from trying now & then. (I last played a few V20 campaigns years ago by now. I mostly just get into the reading...but since you mention it, Werewolf is the next thing I wanna tackle::

I liked werewolves in WoD, particularly how they were presented in opposition to vampires. In other works of fiction, they're usually displayed as somewhat less or equally powered to the vampire protagonists. But in WoD it's a completely different story; If the vampires in question aren't some sort of insanely overpowered elder, they would be more or less goners were they ever to get on the bad side of some werewolf murder machine. I thought that was a nice approach.
Yeah, I like that vampires totally fear the wolves in the WoD
Pretty much everything I know about them comes from the vampire perspective, but I was going through some youtube vids about the game line & my inner Gaian perked up at alot of the lore.
& since you mentioned you liked reading the metaplots, you might be interested to hear that the new masquerade edition basically goes into detail about life post-gehenna, where for a number of reasons, the vamps are driven into hiding to the point where they have to resort to old-school communication, like carrier pigeons & stuff. The Anarchs are at war with the Camerilla, instead of remaining a Cam subsect, & a Second Inquisition all but decimated the Sabbat.
