"When most of the universe wants to destroy you, you learn to think of ways to use anything as a weapon. Even a simple plant can be used to wipe out an entire population if you know all its properties."
Mi just remained silent until she was sure that Megaera finished her talking. "I can understand you.. but do you really need to weaponise a beautiful flower, even when it is not possible. We can search for something you can make a weapon of, hai, just don't let this be our main focus. And hey! You also got me!" She laughed a little at the last part but she was actually serious, she would defend her.
"Perhaps you are right. No need to defile a sacred flower by turning it into a tool of war. You can show your resolve once we enter Edinburg. There are probably a few green trolls waiting under the bridge once we pass through the jump hole."
She smiles.
"You know, In my first attempt I simply contacted them and made my intentions known. They lured me out into the open and attacked me. All I requested was to pick some flowers. Whatever happens now will be on them. I never felt any need for hostility against them and even admired their goals. But alas, their own arrogance makes them unable to see past their own truth."
"A typical way of behaviour. Not everyone with noble goals truly follows them. Their believes are quite nice but cooperating with Corsairs and actively smuggling Artifacts around, literally spitting on the past by this, is something I never understood. One could think people learnt from the Nomad War.. oh well, I will poke them until they go hug some flower." She sighed weakly, she knew exactly that they might find trouble. She didn't really want to get into a fire fight though.. well, maybe they were lucky?
"Problem with these kinds of groups is that they lost sight on their ideals ages ago. They do not know what they fight or what they fight for. They simply create their own enemies in an effort to give themselves an excuse to exist. The irony of it all that such a group keeps their own enemies alive and thus propagate their own insanity into the universe."
"Mmh. And exactly this comes as no surprise. But so many act like this out there.. it's hilarious and sad at the same time. Oh - The Jumphole. Finally. Ready? " Her "Ready" showed her anticipation. Their adventure was starting for real soon!
"After me, huh?" She smirked at Meg and initiated the jump sequence.
The other side was surprisingly calm, Mi almost expected to meet someone waiting for them right at the Jumphole...
Mi started to chuckle at Meg's words. "Only me and you.. and a whole world for us." Her tone was half way serious but had a joking part in it.. she was too excited to check her scanners as thoroughly as Meg did.
