Application : [Subject]

Mara Jade

The top didn't need much time to process this application. Knowing the true enemy out there, it takes a person of strong will and gusto to forgive an enemy for their crimes, especially to focus on something far more important. Your application is hereby accepted, and you will given the title of Operative. In time, you may request to bring the vessel you've been assigned to under the Legacy's wing as well.

Welcome to the Order, Jade.

Name: Hank Gallows
Age: 26 Y/O
Birthplace: Luxury Liner Hawaii, mid-cruise in Sigma-17
Height:1.78 CM
Weight:65 KG

Bio (1 or 2 paragraphs):

Hank Gallows was and still is the perfect example of a rebel. Always a problem child, he used to get in trouble with the authorities on the Hawaii on a weekly basis. His parents, both Spa and Cruise employees, were forced to send him away to his uncle on Java Station or lose their jobs. Hank was in his late teens and the life of a conveyor operator didn't really suit his aggressive personality. During his free hours he would do anything to get some cheap thrills. From racing ships to ambushing pirate raid parties, he had done it all. Gallows' favorite activity , however, was participating in underground fight clubs. The only thing more battered than his old stolen leather coat was his nose. Eventually, he earned enough credits to get a heavily armed, but not so well armored ship. Of course, in-house contracts were beneath him, so Hank decided to operate in the edge worlds. He used his old contacts on Java and ran mostly babysit jobs for zoner supply ships in and out of Theta. The Hawaii was also close by, so he got to visit his parents and his old childhood love, Cassandra. The most beautiful woman in the entirety of the Omicrons, but sadly, not the most faithful one. Rumor was, she had a speech disorder - she couldn't say no. But Hank was so in love, he choose not to care about those rumors. Ignorance was a bliss, plus, he kinda liked beating up Cassandra's ever-increasing number of flings. Life was enjoyable and simple, with nothing but booze and plenty of low risk - high reward jobs in the edge worlds in the near future. Or so he thought. Very soon, Hank's illusions would come to an end and his world would come crashing down on itself.

Omicron Kappa, escort job, day two. Gallows was leading a convoy of three freighters with his trusty Bayonet. They were all packed with supplies he couldn't care less about and headed towards a Freeport, about which he didn't really care . As they were approaching the jump hole that was supposed to get them into Delta, the butterfly flapped it's wings and in return, they set the events in motion. A monstrous wave that would turn our rebel into the most dedicated protector of humanity. Bright blue ships zoomed out of the jump hole and released a flurry of projectiles. The freighters were atomized before they could utter a single swear word, but Gallows got lucky. He ran into what looked like a wrecked cockpit and sheered his portside wing and engine. The ship spiraled out of control, gracefully dodging all incoming fire and just as he was about to get pulverized by the unknown assailants a second fleet emerged out of the Jumphole. One capital vessel and two squadrons of fighters. The capital ship's design was similar to that of Liberty ships, but the armor was all wrong. Dark, battered and even cracked at a few spots. That didn't stop them from going head on and laying down the law on the bright blue lights. Gallows heard rumors about the Order and the Nomads, but he had dismissed it, thinking it was just "science fiction" and "bedtime stories for kids". And speaking of bedtime, his ship managed to gently slam itself into the side of the warship, just as it extinguished the largest bright blue flicker of light.

Hank woke up a few days later on Freeport 11 with nothing but his old stolen leather coat, the three plasma revolvers tucked in it and whatever else trinkets he had in the pockets. The credits he had in his account were all but gone, because apparently, two cybernetic legs, an eye, a hand, three fingers and a hair transplant were terribly expensive in the most remote Freeport in the Omicrons. Gallows didn't care. Although no one told him who really got him there, he knew who was responsible for his survival and he decided to return the favor. In style.

That was back in 817. Fast forward to today, Hank, proud defender of humanity and member of the Order, is now in desperate need of a cause to fight for. He feels that the overwatch isn't really up to date and there are much better ways to end the nomad threat. Or his life. Preferably in that order.

Dedication and the willingness to fight the enemy that trumps all others is enough of a reason to hold respect. Knowing that enemy and facing it day in and day out commands an even greater respect. Your application to the Legacy of Orillion cell is hereby accepted, Gallows. You'll be given the position of Operative, and will need to report to Dabadoru in Omicron Delta for official licensing of gear and identifiers.

Welcome aboard, Gallows.

Height:Height: 1.72 M

Bio: I, uh...well, I was born on a hab-ship in Kansas, my father's an officer in the Commonwealth's Legion...So, my education is a little spotty, the state wasn't really operational when I was a kid, but, well, shoot, I've been on every sort of ship from freighter to battleship, I've run orders and I've welded plates and gotten greasy...I'm not familiar with the way yall operate your cloakes, but I don't doubt I'd be able to re-jigger anythin else. Aside from that, yeah, I'm applying as a pilot, I've flown..freighters, transports, and scout-fighters. I..know my way around a cockpit, and I've been principle in..two engagements. Minor firefights, but..live arms and I was in the hotseat. Out of the hotseat...Well, shoot, as I said, I've done command-runner for the XO on the Invictus, and I dunno, I'm not an ace, I score about 70s on the sims, but...The thing I got that lots of guys my age don't have? I did grow up in a live fire situation, and have dug myself out of of a furball or two, and absolutley know how to keep your ordinance in good shape, from the bay or from the cockpit.....uuuh...Yeah, that's about it.

Have you ever been sanctioned? (Note, this is purely for the record, and has no impact on the application) I've not been sanctioned. I was once banned, but I requested that myself, so that I could get some schoolwork done.

It isn't too often we get applications from those born in the Commonwealth. Usually it's out here in the Edge, or nearby. Regardless, individuals of technical know-how and reliability are well regarded in our ranks, and as such are welcome. You are hereby accepted into the cell, and you will be given the rank of Operative. Familiarize yourself with our tactics, as well as our people, and you'll do just fine.

Welcome to the Order, Duncan.

Age: 27
Birthplace: Crete
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 130 lbs.

Bio (1 or 2 paragraphs):
Career pilot for The Order, callsign Wildcat. Served three tours aboard the Order Science Division flagship carrier Bastet, under Lieutenant Christopher Maihos, my wing commander. I stuck with Lieutenant Maihos when he was promoted and transferred to a commanding position onboard the O.S.D. Lynx. During the maiden voyage of the Lynx, a jump hole anomaly caused the ship, myself, and all other crew to become displaced in time; what seemed like a matter of hours to us translated into several years passing for the rest of the galaxy. When we completed the jump, Toledo was smoldering, The Order had moved on, and we were left to catch up.
Commander Maihos and the rest of his crew have chosen to remain loyal to the Black Fleet, despite the apparent change in focus it has taken in recent years. I can no longer, in good faith, serve under a command that has relegated alien threats to a lower importance than squabbles with the Bounty Hunter's Guild, or the Core as it is now known. I want my own command with the Legacy of Orillion, and I want to return to the true purpose of The Order: the eradication of alien threats that would subvert and subdue humanity.

Arya Davis,

We've received communications from other cells, freelancers, but never an officer of the Black Fleet. Indeed, it is a shame that the pilots of the Core have been delegated as a higher threat to humanity than the Nomads to them, but such misfortune is bound to happen in these quests. You will find that the Legacy of Orillion is more than welcoming of men and women from all walks of life, and that includes those of your background. Make your way to Dabadoru in Delta, where you'll be given new instructions.

Welcome to the Legacy, Davis.

Name: Shana Nesho'en
Age: 27
Birthplace: Unknown, Somewhere in Kusari
Height: 163cm
Weight: 63kg

Bio (1 or 2 paragraphs):

Ah, so much to talk about, so little time. I'll try not to waste too much of yours. Allegedly, I seem to have escaped a Kusarian research facility before making my first contact with the Blood Dragons, on which topic I'll speak on in a bit. During my time as a non-consensual guinea pig, I was a subject of nanotechnology and genetics research. Even to this day, certain aspects of myself such as reflex, eye tracking and preservation are heavily enhanced due to a high density of self-supporting nanites in my body.

I can't give you a lot more backround besides that, as I have no memory preceding those events. After managing to break free I landed myself within the Blood Dragons, as their patrol found me moments before my stolen ships emergency oxygen supply was running out. Kyoto felt quite familiar from the moment I first stepped foot on it, I slowly developed to fit into their society like it was the natural thing to do, steadily climbing the hierarchy throughout my years there. I'll save you the small details, but at a certain point in time, you could've considered me to be the Shogun's right hand.

My clan, the Nesho'en, consisted of Kyoto's most skilled pilots, human death machines with no remorse, flying under my personal command, trained personally by me, and pledging their absolute loyalty to our banner. But all that is good, must come to an end. The Shogunate slowly degraded with time, it became a mess, and I was slowly falling from power due to my disagreements with the new leaders.

To keep a long story short, one by one my clansmen were setting off from Kyoto, many of them opting to apply their skills in mercenary work, while I myself retreated into Tohoku, basing myself from Ryukyu base, pushing myself into Nomad territory in order to soothe my thirst for battle, or so I thought. But it was just a simple outlet to divert my mind from the fact the only world I've known was falling apart. The true flame of the Crimson Dragon, the Blood Bane of the Shogunate, was withering away.

Recently, I've learnt about the Legacy, a singular section of the Order that is not hellbent on their quarrels with the Core and stay true to the goals that really matter, and as I was admiring the Arch, I thought, maybe here the flame will be re-ignited, and I'll find a new purpose to my complicated existence?

I can't say I'm an idealist, I have yet to determine my new drive, but I can safely say I'm willing to dedicate myself to your group and offer all of my applicable skills and experience at your disposal, should you find me acceptable for joining your ranks.

Shana Nesho'en,

The Order has very vivid, and very positive memories of working with the Blood Dragons. As time has passed, it has been saddening watching our ally deal with internal strife, and while effort was made, it is a shame that it was too little too late. However, even in the wake of this, we still happily welcome any member of the Shogunate, past or present, who recognizes the true enemy of humanity, which it is clear you are amongst. As of here, your application to the Legacy of Orillion Cell is accepted, and you will be given the field rank of Operative. Report to Dabadoru in Omicron Delta at the earliest; There will be much to talk about.

Welcome to the Order, Operative.

After I left the Red Hessian Army since Anna Heinrich took over and made the movement a group of barbarians who are killing and destroying everything that is in her way, I heard rumors about a ex. Hessian called Riemann who joined the Order to continued his way. I took the same path and joined The Order primary fleet under Golanski commands. After a while I realised that this Order pilots aren't that highly skilled and prefer to outnumber the enemy while not caring about anything else than to kill them.
I'm not a big fan of that... and prefer to fly with some pilots who are more skilled.
