Mi smiled amused at her words. She surely was a unique case. "That Empress Red and Golanski know each other well. We..we really do have a small circle of Golanski fangirls and story writers. According to their claims Golanski showed her his rooms.." She decided it was better not to bluntly speak out this rumor. A rumor she found rather stupid herself as this implied the Empress to leave from her place unnoticed.
“I have no need for this decaying bag of bone and flesh to defile the garden. Truly an evolution had taken a wrong turn creating such a vile entity.” Admiral answered with slight disgust at idea that this thing would be brought under his doors. “Neither you are a Terran domesticated feline to bring dead animals under my doorstep as a gift of affection.” It was not his trophy to keep, as well as he had no damn idea what he would even do with such a ‘gift’ to begin with. However next topic of conversation triggered something in his head and brought his more unpleasant side of his character to the table.
An Order standard issue blade appeared in his hand, hard to tell where from as he did not appeared to be armed at first glance in the transmission. Metal was matt in appearance as to prevent reflection betraying the operative’s location in the field, balanced to be used for throwing and close quarter combat alike. The Order veterans, marines and pilots alike were renowned for their skill in use of knives both as an utility tool and weapon. He did not took the comment on term of bleeding lightly. “I do not know... do you?” The display of his weapon was pointless exercise though the very notion of suggesting to let Her’s blood down convinced his subconsciousness sufficiently that he might as well have sufficient ‘reach’ for his threat to have any kind of effect. This or simple theatrics
“There will be no harming my allies while I can help it.”
I guess I will have to find another purpose for this creature..."
Megaera went to back the weapon cabinet and picked up a revolver from the side drawer.
"This is the greatest handgun ever made. The Next Generation Colt Single Action. 6 bullets."
She spinned the cylinder and aims the gun at Mi.
"More than enough to kill anything that moves."
She pulled the trigger *click*
"But ofcourse this one is not loaded."
She lowered the gun.
"Thing is. You can not help it. I am a goddess, currently located on Gaia, and everything lives and dies by my will. You are all the way in Omicrons. But, because you ask nicely, I will not harm your allies...
Say, what can I bring back from Gaia that makes you a Jolly Golly?"
She gave Golanski a smirk and went back to the armory.
"You know... I could try to capture a live one and let it loose on Freeport 11. Or use drop pods and infest some planet with them, just for the laughs. They seem to be pretty vicious."
Megaera grabbed a handful of armor piercing bullets and start loading them into the revolver
"First bullet for the heresy that plagues Sirius. Second one is for those, who interrupted my tea. Third is for Freeport 11. Fourth is for one that invented synth food. Fifth is for those that evade my light. And the sixth is for the color Red."
She gave the cylinder a spin and puts it in her holster. *clang clang clang*
A noise could be heard on top of the ship and it moved in the direction of the cockpit. Megaera walked towards it and activated the combat interface, that widened the view on the screen using cameras mounted on the ship. One of the Gaian creatures could be seen climbing the roof of the ship. It was missing a tail.
"Ah, there you are... It is you again. You attacked me and I have only one reply to that. Purification."
She pressed a button and took control of the sunfrenzy turrets. The creature walked closer to the cockpit window and was soon within firing range of the turrets.
"Death to all heretics that defy the will of the gods."
She activated the turrets and the creature exploded into a rain of blood.
Megaera looked back at the communications screen with a satisfied smile.
"Awww.... now my ship is all red too. Maybe you like it even more now."
Megaera left the pilot seat and walked to the weapons cabinet yet again.
"I will capture a live one using the power of lightning. Here, Mi, Hold this."
Megaera picked up a heavy but crude looking weapon and put it into Mi's hands.
"This is the RNG55. It was designed to use on escaped slaves. It fires a net and lets a powerful current run through it to immobilise the target. It can be used on Red things too. It is abit of a rough design, but it actually works pretty reliable. Take a spare battery just in case. And finally..."
Megaera took the full automatic assault rifle out of the foam.
"When accuracy fails, you mow down everything infront of you."
After Megaera finished stocking up on ammo, she waved at the communications screen that was still online.
Mi had no choice but to watch Megaera's somewhat hasty doings. She attempted to follow her every now and then and finally managed to find a chance when Meg appeared at the weapon cabinet again. She did as told, taking the weapong. She looked startled at its design, recognizing it from somewhere else. Though she did not want to ask Meg in front of Golanski still listening.. whom she gave a quick glimpse. Wondering if he wanted to say something more but Meg was faster and Mi had no choice but to follow Meg. Leaving Golanski behind with noone in the ship. "Eww.. you had to make a bloody mess, didn't you? And how comes you have.. Rogues tools? Especially.. this ones."" She asked carefully, remembering someone who was hit by this weapon already.
"This thing?"
She pointed at the RNG55. "I kept it after I left the Rogues. I used to be a Scylla commander and laid claim to the title of Queen of Cassini. But I got sick of Liberty and had the Liberty Navy bribe me with wine to leave it. It is how I returned to Kusari."
She turned around to look at the blood splattered sichel.
"To be honest, with all this blood on it, it does look like a rogue ship."
Mi sighed quietly. "A Rogue? You among this filthy people? Most of them are atleast.." Mi appeared to be quite surprised but also a little concerned. "Well.. oh well. Hope there is some wine left? Also, keep that weapon off Ainu in the future. There are a few Sisters who could.. react negatively just on the sight of this."
"If there was wine from Liberty left, it must be a year old by now. But the Gallic Navy gave me a barrel of wine for terrorising Liberty. Did not open that one yet."
She looked at the gun.
"It is too heavy to casually carry it everywhere I go. I am sure people would not apreciate it either, if I entered carrying a rocket launcher. I can tell you though, do not touch the net. The insulation is not for show."
Mi looked a bit startled after the headpat, her cheeks became a little red too! "Eeehh- well, you are right! And.. a whole barrel of Gallic wine, not bad. So.." She spoke quickly, smiling now though. "Time to catch one of them, hai?"
