if you guys are really into THIS, would it be a Spatial like ship, an armored transport like Ragnar/Pelican or just a small regular freighter?
Just asking because either role makes sense for a ship like THIS, but maybe the armored transport makes more sense in-rp to act as an assault landing ship for troops

We were thinking either Combat Freighter or SHF as far as game mechanics. Combat freighter would be something along the lines of the OSC Taurus, SHF would be more like the spatial.

Personally I would LOVE an Order-specific version of the Spatial, as it's one of my favorite snubs to fly lately and I do have one already in Order|. Something similar in stats but maybe with a slightly different focus would be good, I'd probably say:
4x fighter guns
4x forward-firing fighter turrets
2x Cruise disruptor/Bomber Torpedo slots (same as spatial)
2x Countermeasure slots (Going along the lines of the Resheph here, and that we'd want our combat-supply-freighters to be able to get away from hostiles, plus it would allow it to run cloak disruptors as well as a countermeasure)
1x Mine slot

Should also have a class 1 equipment slot for running a hyperspace survey module, that way it can be used as a forward scout to set coordinates for our osirises to jump into combat.

Bumping this, if anyone else wants to give a shot at a new model we're still open to it. I think our current modeler may have given up. As far as I know there's still funds set aside for this thing to be done.

To recap: The Hathor is a heavy gunboat, and in-RP is supposed to serve as a light destroyer / heavy escort role alongside larger and more valuable ships like the Resheph. It needs to at the very least maintain the current stats of 8 gunboat turrets (2 heavy), a heavy gunboat power core, so on and so forth. The design direction is up to the artist, but there's about an even split between order players who want it to remain 'flat' like it currently is, and those who want a more traditional tubular design - so long as it still looks like a heavy escort or light destroyer.

Would really appreciate anyone out there with modeling knowledge taking up the challenge here.

I haven't given up, I just have ADHD and I've been dealing with a lot lately. Still, if anyone else wants to give it a shot then I won't complain.
