Buenos dias, to the representative of Bretonia's Secret Intelligence Service. I hope this day finds you well.

I am Terrence Costa, of the Apostatas. I apologise that a more high-ranking official or a designated ambassador could not open communications with you, as I am a mere soldier. Manpower is short and all of us are required to fill other roles in the Apostatas Fleet, of which I will do my duty gladly.

We are exiles in the Corsair Empire, currently engaged in skirmishes and small scale battles with the Council, and the factions they represent. We wish to reform the Corsairs-- No, we wish to correct this path that the Corsairs have tread, a path of bloodshed, violence and thievery. This is not what our forefathers from the Hispania would have wanted for us. The Brotherhood and Custodi do not see things our way, and have responded with violence as we anticipated. So be it.

The fools believe that they are strong, while they drive our people ever closer to extinction. They cloud our people's minds with lies. But there is hope. As we head closer to full scale civil war, we must extend our gaze further into Sirius and consider our future. A future where Crete makes her fortune from trade and exploration, not piracy and slaughter.

From memory, the SIS and the ApS have always had an established neutrality agreement, and as far as I am aware, neither side has broken that agreement. We are happy to reiterate our willingness to assist you and your group in whatever endeavors your may wish to pursue against the TBH and Custodi, but I am slightly confused as to why you feel the need to reintroduce yourselves.
