Any update on what kind of ships this has been happening to? Transports? Freighters? Bombers? Fighters? Gunboats and up? Whaa?

I've had my shields randomly drop (hull stayed fine) before, but recently when I was testing out that get-the-admiral-as-he-crashes-into-planet thing, my shields dropped, hull went to 10%, all in one jump... mashed the F and G keys. Shield dropped yet again, hit F and flew away. No one was firing on me, I didn't hear any sounds, and Liberty wasn't red.
