"Looks like a docile creature. I half expected it to tear you apart."
The creature just stood there and largely ignored their presence. Megaera took a step forward and touched the side of the creature. The skin felt thick and leathery.
"Want to try to sit on its back?"
She folded her hands infront of her so Mi could use it as a step to climb onto the creature's back.
"I mean.. it seems to.. trust us? Or atleast we don't appear to be a threat. So sure, let's ride it!" She chuckled a little and with Meg's help managed to get on the back of the creature, sighing. She actually was exhausted but this was somewhat funny, the creature didn't move an inch but Mi carefully tried to find somewhere to hold on already.
"L-Like I know! I've no clue how to do this!" Mi returned, laughing now. This must look sort of hilarious, her sitting on the back of this creature, somewhat desperately trying to make it move while Meg just stood there and casually tried to feed it!
The animal sniffed the grass that Megaera was holding up to it and used one of the tentacles to take it and bring it to its mouth.
Megaera noticed something while picking more grass for the animal. A small yellow flower with red edges was visible between the grass leaves.
"Mimimimimimi look!"
Megaera pointed at the flower. She took out a portable computer out of her pocket to communicate with the ship's database.
"Yes it seems like this is one of our tea flowers."
"Meg-Meg-Meeeeeg? What? Wait-wait, one of our tea flowers?" Mi was sliding a bit around on the creature's back and gave its sides a gentle slap. Wanting it to finally move!! "I didn't expect we were.. that close to the spots they grow at. I bet he likes them too.."
She patted this thing and smiled at Meg, curious if Meg thought they should rather focus on the tea flowers now or not..
"Nice! So we just have to look around to find it.." She leaned a bit forward to see the image properly and was caught a little off guard when one of the tentacles suddenly moved. Seeing it ate the flower she chuckled though. "Looks like we aren't the only one knowing what good tea is."
"Takatea the little tea thief! Take us to the tea spot!" Just when Mi said this the Takatea made two slow steps, aiming past the stone Megaera sat on. Did it find more tea plants?
Mi had no idea but held onto the creature, somehow fearing it suddenly starts to run!
