Sounds kind of similar, doesn't it? He just said that this was too simple of an explanation. There is far more at play than just foreign influences. Everyone but a Kusari is a gaijin, but the Junkers are something far worse than any ordinary Gaijin.
This, too, is very simplistic and too simple to really explain the Hogosha's true function. I won't quote his explanation, mainly because it's the whole thing, but this is far too vague to describe anything.

Shigeo, I hope I can be as well versed as you in Kusari politics one day. Wonderfully put and well explained. I am honored to fly as your ally.

Domo arigato! I hoped this might help some of the confused gaijin out there understand what true life in Kusari is all about.

Cryer invented synthetic marijuana but we have perfected and produced our own version of it locally. Ours is of superior quality and more economically produced which is why we can out-compete the honorless Junkers in its distribution and sale.

As to the other comments of an ignorant Junker--BWAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Tenacity, this post is flavor, not something we're supposed to patronize

I didn't think the farmers alliance liked the Hogosha. The Blood Dragons and the FA are friends, right? Well, I heard from a rumor on Kyoto that the Hogosha were scum who did the corporations work. Is this because the BD blame all corporations for the corruption of Kusari, and the Hogosha work for the Kusari corporations?

Correct me if I'm wrong, and keep out of the thing between tenacity and bacon.

It's ok Asympotic (but thanks).

He is a Junker and gaijin--we of course must expect less of him. Set your sights lower for him out of pity.

Perhaps we could take up a scrap collection for his mongrel offspring to play with?

The Farmer's Alliance and Hogosha are actually full-on allies.

While the Hogosha have relationships the Farmers would not have and vice versa--they have shared interests that overide those considerations.

It's like having a brother and sister with another brother who does not get along with one of them. You just don't invite him to the same dinners at your home.

And the Dragons do exaggerate their case against their enemies.

Thanks for the information. And I like the person-you-don't-have-dinner-with-at-the-same-time-as-everyone-else comparison.

//Thanks--I grew up in a family that had a lot of those. My mother had to make a seating chart to make sure one relative wasn't to close to another and it was so complex she cried sometimes trying to do it.

Where OOC ends and RP begins I can't tell.
1. Hogosha are the most un-honourable bunch of cowards that I know. They are quasi-legal like the Junkers simply because they bribe everything and anything. At least the Junkers clean up some of the waste houses create, Hogosha are just out to get more power.

2. The Hogosha don't want the Junkers coming in and becoming a rival in the black market.
You may call that a simple view but it is true even if it is just one part of a bigger picture.

3. If foreigners are so unworthy, why bring Kusari goods to them? Or for that matter, bring goods made by the 'inferior' foreigners to 'honourable' Kusarians?

There are those with Honour is Kusari but it's hard to spot. Blood Dragons yes, GC maybe (Don't know much about them) and elements of the government. The rest?
