If our RP is in order, aren't we allowed to go there regardless of "approval"?

I had an admin tell me if you have proper ID/TAG/SHIP there is no reason RP/game wise the "faction's" should stop you. If they fire on you,and kill you take screens of it.and let them explain to admin's why they did it. Lots are just getting to be to power hungry, and want their faction buddies to have only access. This is not a guard system, and as such NO faction can KOS a legal char from being their.(although some think they can)(some think rules do not apply to them).
So just take screen's of the conversation, and of them firing on you/killing you, and let the admin's determine who is ooRP/PVP whoring. Simple enough as no matter what people say here, the admin's make/enforce rule's. Not the player's or faction's.(unless it is an owned guard system)

Liberty seems to possess a competent military, and their Navy *does* go into Omicron Minor.

Spot anyone in minor? SS it and report it back to the High Command.

The only time I knew there was an SA in Minor (after Dave Elliston's oorp attack) was today, the [SA]-LNS-Arkansas went to Kappa to equip Cruiser infernoes or something. I told him to get a Zoner to buy it for him, but.. yeah.

My point is - a faction cannot tell an independent where he can or cannot go, as long as it's RP. Doesn't matter if George Bush goes to Area 51, that has nothing to do with this discussion.

It's not a guard system they don't own it, Liberty Security Force is a NPC faction in game and =LSF= is a player faction within the NPC faction so they do not controll the indi Liberty Security Force players. As long as the indi is staaying within his Liberty Security Force RP it is OORPPVP whoring to kill him for entering Alaska.


We need to decide weather or not there should be such things as indis, personally i don't care i don't have any indi chars but I sure as hell don't try to force my authority or pvp down there throat. I respect there decision and as long as they stay true to the factions RP they are A OK in my book. All you faction leaders need to go out and get dogs so you can have some one to boss around :wacko:stop trying to be dictators if they want to join your ranks and RP with you so be it if not and they are staying true to the NPC faction RP see how i said NPC faction thats because that might not be the same RP as player factions then so be it and leave them be. Or amend the rules so there is no such thing as indi players I myself again don't care either way.

Considering many of said orderers are high ranking (up to the level of the Director himself) Liberty Security Force personnel, I don't see why not. Navy gets a little more tricky, since the Southern Alliance lacks jurisdiction over Zone 21/New York/Colorado and other Northern systems.

It's called the Liberty Security Force, not the X Division of the Liberty Security Force. There's no "within" involved, any more than the United States of America is "within" the USA. The fact it's led by a Director should make this obvious.

In any case, making independents an all or nothing issue solves nothing. Few, if any people want to factionalize pirate factions, to give one example, because criminals naturally fracture into gangs and divisions. What many people, myself included, think, is that there can be roleplay benefit from people roleplaying top-level characters that comes with tradeoffs in RP possibilities.

The LSF organization on the forums is a player faction and doesn't encompass all players who might decide to RP as LSF independently. I am one of these players and I don't take orders from the player faction. I will pass through Alaska as it fits with my RP, so long as it does not violate your ability to RP, and if you shoot at me I'll take a screenshot. End of story.

Your character would take orders, if he's an LSF agent, from Brian and David's characters, because they are the Director and Deputy Director of the Liberty Security Force. And currently, said individuals have set policy for the Liberty Security Force and it's agents.

If they don't lead the Liberty Security Force, what do they lead? Is this some kind of Doctor Who-style parallel earth situation, with two LSFs?

If thats how it is then there should be no such thing as Indi players but untill then it is not the case. Whats to stop 4 guys starting o lets say a player group called the Corsairs now all the corsair player groups OPG TBH and whatever others are now null in void and need to answer to the Corsairs??
