It isn't against the server rules to roleplay an LSF officer who is independent playerfaction-wise and takes no orders from your director.

Stop making strawman arguments. I never appealed to the server rules

It's not my responsibility to petition the admins. If you open fire on me, whose side do you think the admins will take? I'll do my RP and follow the server rules. Hopefully you can too.

I never said it was, it was just a suggestion for you if you object to LSF policy. I'm not an LSF member, in any case.

I'm not suggesting a ban on "unilateral faction names," but this faction post, while it is approved by the admins, takes second place behind server rules. Until players who possess a LSF ID are obligated by rules to obey the Director, I'm not obeying the Director.

Don't like it? Shoot me as I try to enter Alaska next time.

Well, you would be out of roleplay, in my opinion, to disobey the leader of your own organisation, but that would be an appeal to server rules, so I'll leave it there. It is not against server rules, but it is contrary to common sense.

Thing is Asymptotic; Copeland generally leaves the Indie LSF alone... So you don't have to worry about that BUT RP wise he is the real leader of the LSF... LSF as a whole

THE Liberty Security Force; There is none of this Player Faction stuff...

COPELAND generally leaves you alone... And that is not what this arguments about its the fact that HE is the Leader, NOT That you should obey him...

He is, in RP, the Director of the Liberty Security Force. Your character, if he/she is an agent of the Liberty Security Force, joined the Liberty Security Force, quite obviously.

This is according to common sense, not server rules. I'm not recommending you be sanctioned.

And also, despite my bolded, double insistence with no prior statements of appealing to server rules, you still continued to make such an argument. That makes it a strawman.

Clarification: In common sense/roleplay, my character has been employed by the LSF to investigate recent Nomad activity, collect technology, facilitate safe, risk-free analysis, and use it for Liberty's gain.

I'm not whining. I don't like when players feel they can disregard an admin's official word on the authority of player factions and the autonomy of independents.

I actually said something quite like that over encrypted comms the other day and was denied.

Just to support my position some more I'm going to quote some server rules.

Factions are free to restrict or not restrict access to their home systems and tax players who enter home system. Access to systems that surround home system must not be restricted unless there's a war with another faction.

Buying an ID does not automatically mean that player becomes part of appropriate player faction.

Im not saying your a jackass and im sorry if i came across that way. and its not a bad idea to roleplay zone 21 with the players that join the =LSF= or any outsider that decides to brake your law hell i do it just so i can RP with you guys had a nice encouter with MikeEdwards the other day we had some fun or at least I did even know he blew my ass up.. but he is a Indi let him have his own RP thats all. Belive me most people would rather have a whole group of people to RP and follow rules with, hell I'm one of them.
