The Barrage Technique
Both the Indefatigable and the Nonsuch have adapted a fighting style known as "Barrage". This started first when Oliver Pellew found himself fighting many corsairs and his weapons re-fire rate did not give him a very high hit percentage. So he decided to arrange his weapons in an order and fire them in an order, hence shooting each one at a seperate time allowing a steady stream of fire rather than the bursts of energy. Cpt. Mathews then saw this happen and instructed his firing crews to attempt the same. It was a success. Cpt. Styles then observed the effectiveness of this technique on the Indefatigable and applied it to the Nonsuch.

The Large forward Gunboat gun
As per all Bretonian Gunboats, a large forward gun is installed on the top to attack heavy support if the enemy fighters have them. This gun allowes the Gunboat to attack both fighters and larger ships and bases if need be.
