To an extent, do not forget, that after the first wave the event have drastically changed. To be precise, the following changes were taken:
  • Cruisers have now been under the command of actual players, and not NPCs, which excluded any aiming issues.
  • The cruisers, starting from the second wave, had significantly weaker armor than the initially spawned NPCs.
  • Freelancers have been excluded from participation for either of the sides.
  • The outcome was pretty much a draw, yet another "zero sum scenario", where either of the sides got what was proposed: Beurvay have been turned into a wreck, but Athos have been relocated to New London. Nothing really changed for the Gallic side, it even became easier for their allies to operate on the theater.
In fact, none of the sides were harmed significantly with the outcome of this event.

If you are not pleased with it's outcome - have some guts to openly state your opinion.
If you don't have the guts - you should just suck it up, which is exactly what you did.
You have no one to blame but yourself.

The first wave counted, and the final wave had an additional cruiser. That removed any chance of a Gallic victory when the event had even finished yet.

What i am trying to point out is that:
  • All the issues were taken into consideration after the first wave, and were generally fixed throughout the following waves.
  • The event have ended as a draw, with the proposed outcomes for both sides brought to be live in the server environment.
Also, if either of the sides saw some general incosistency throughout the event - why not point out to these matters rather than just maintaining low profile about it initially and using it latter on the forums to play "victims of circumstances"?

What is the logic behind it?

Nobody is playing victim. I certainly don't see any claims for compensation, damages or redressal for time wasted and grievances caused. People just don't want preferential treatment and they want the logic that was applied to the last event to be applied to this one. That is in essence, the fact that where was no need for a repeat of the event and certainly no need to make the "victim" liable for any shortcomings of the organiser.

Just no... You can see the salty river flowing in this thread. Second attempt would bring us an ocean of salt. Because there will be another and another disadvantage. Plus it wouldn't be fair after NL event and also I agree that Gallic side would be punished for failure of event overseers.

When Gallia/Corsairs lost at least 6-7 players after the first wave because of the NPCs lagging out and the server crash, which resulted in them losing a lot of dps through a 3-hour event overall, they were told to "suck it up".
When the 10th cruiser was conjured out of thin air to force a draw, Gallia/Corsairs were told to "suck it up".
There was no mention or offer of a remake, and Gallia almost fully lost the event rather than what was latter announced as a draw.

Now anti-Gallic forces have similar obstacles that aren't even close in magnitude compared to the ones in NL, and suddenly the other side wants preferential treatment. It's nothing but hypocrisy.

Pretty much this.

And now all you do is crying to staff/players/whoever because you want to force your way into things,as always. Same with "Ganks" same with outcomes, same with accusations. Stop playing the victim. You could refuse to "suck it up" but you did not. You lost your chance. I fully support it was unfair for Gallic side during the NL event and you make valid points there @Antonio, but for the love of Talos, stop crying when things do not go your way.

First couple questions, that I feel need to be answered:
- Do we know exactly who used the NEMPs?
- Can we tie that person to either side participating in the event?
- Can this happen again?
- What do we do next time this happens? Do we just suck it up?

Either way, the rules of the event were broken in a big way, resulting in unplayable game for many.
In such a case the event should have been scrapped/rerun.

You know it is funny, second event where players can affect the outcome and second event where "technical difficulties of some sort" have ruined it.

One thing I would like to suggest is that events be mirrored when possible to avoid defender/attacker bias. For example in the running the gauntlet event, the attackers were clearly at an advantage in such a scenario, so a similar event should be done with the sides flipped.
Having most events mirrored sounds like a really good idea.
Rehearsing for such events also comes in mind....

Nobody is crying tho. He just stated his opinion. All of people you seem to be the ONLY one crying here because you cannot accept defeat.

Pulling out arguments like "Hahaaaa if you so sure about your win then why are you scared of repeating it" is pure childish behaviour. Outcome is pretty much same. Lawless system or system under Council control, so ALMOST the same, yet you are mad because you couldn't WIN and blue something in pixel fight.

If that "you" is aimed to me directly, no i am not mad. Just that i voice my opinion of it is being unfair and should be rerun. By my logic, if the victorious side is so certain they would win again, by all means they should not be so opposed to run it again. If that "you" was directed at Council side as a whole, of course i cannot speak for entirety of council/CR people.
