With all the talk of delete gallia removing things. What about adding some more Baxter Objects naturally to the game environment? E.g. ones that aren't attached to NPC bases but rather out in the open. At present many of the ones I knew about more or less were wiped during system purges and merges.

I am especially fond of the ones that destroy your ship if you get to close.

I'm well aware. I'm asking for more of them, especially ones not connected or attached to NPC bases, the one in Alberta isn't a natural object but rather the result of Ageria's Super Hyper Gate.....thingy

There are seven Baxter objects currently, but yeah, with the trend of removing content to please the people who log to kill activity and blame others for not flying around in activity hotspots, it would be nice if certain research-worthy stuff would appear with the next updates again. Not that nobody prepared anything like this months ago already.

Making an alternative, actual way of acquiring scidata by...researching things would be cool too, tied to those baxter objects or whatever is getting added. Somehow make them a group activity instead of solo stuff. That actually encourages people to form fleets of research teams and escort the research ships while they do their jobs etc

I assume that's what Alley meant by "You'll get something fun soon™ in that regard" since she was working on a plugin to do just that with the Corvo and the researcher ID.
