There's a lot of uncertainty and confusion concerning the recent destruction of Tombstone Estate. My readers are anxious to learn about what happened, but there's been little concrete information made public so far. I'm reluctant to report hearsay and unsubstantiated rumors, so I was hoping that all of you could help me out by telling me what you've learned so far.

You have my word as a professional journalist that I will keep my reporting objective. I'm hoping that, between the four of us, and anyone else I can get to go on the record, we can get at the truth of what happened and shine a light on what someone has hoped to keep shrouded in darkness.

to say the situation is chaotic would be an understatement. Omega-49 is currently visited by an impressive amount of groups that which to either support their respective allies, offer humanitarian aid and evacuation or just wait for a possible escalation to happen. To see the world on fire.

Tombstone Estate is confirmed to be destroyed by a nuclear explosion, however the circumstances of it are very unclear. At this point, the only public source of information can be found here while the word spread there is of questionable evidence. Other than that, you will find this news article by Interspace Commerce.

The Omicron Supply Industries are currently focusing on limiting the unrest planetside as well as on Grand Vista, Lanzarote and Nichols by keeping all supplies going while supporting any evacuation efforts. The two main Zoner colonies, Las Palmas and Los Dragos, are at this point reliant on external supplies as more and more companies have moved their assets away from Omega-49, causing an increase of unemployed people. Criminality is increasing as people have began to claim abandoned buildings. The sad truth is: While one half is leaving, the other half is staying for various reasons. Some will just accept the Bretonians, some will welcome them with heavy resistance.

At this point, it is unclear whether Corsairs were behind the nuclear strike on Tombstone Estate - the evidences are not pristine and people have voice suspicions about the nuclear explosion of Tombstone Estate without the ownership being around possibly being an act of what historians call a Scorched Earth scenario as similar cases have been reported to happen in multiple places on smaller scale - buildings set on fire, supplies getting destroyed, factories turned unusable. The radioactive aftermath however sets a clear sign to Battlegroup Stirling and Bretonia: Whoever it was, they do not wish to make this any easier to the Bretonians.

The Omicron Supply Industries are facing a unique and very saddening situation. For many years we have managed to live in peace with our neighbours, the Bretonians and the Mollys, the Cretans, the Red Hessians and the Coalition. Our wish is to maintain this peace, should it be possible in any way. Our wish is to solve this without bloodshed. For this, OSI diverted a budget of 1.000.000.000 Credits for humanitarian aid efforts and evacuation as well as to reinforce police forces planetside, hospitals and other civil institutions to prevent as much harm as possible caused by all these events. We wish to ensure a working infrastructure in our colonies and settlements. No matter what will happen and who will govern over Gran Canaria in the next weeks or months or years, we wish to ensure that nobody needs to starve, freeze, suffer from illness or crime. That is what we can do.

Good evening Mr. Olsen,

first I hope that you'll deem me attending instead of Dr. John Henry Holliday sufficient enough. I am Prof. Dr. Alessa Samson and I have been on the side of Dr. Holliday for the last couple days. Please excuse his absence. He is at the moment visiting a crucial meeting.
I hope you understand that the latest events forced us to do some steps to save our souls.
Since we have arrived at a safe location and having a short time working through the traumatic experience that happened at Tombstone Estate, I feel being on mind to talk about it.

It was at the 13/12/825 A.S., John Holliday, his daughter Emiko and me had packed some bags to clear our minds after the summit, regaining some energy, but most important, celebrating the engagement of John Holliday and me. We took the private Yacht and had been enjoying the ocean of Gran Canaria for the next couple days.
This pleasure reached it's end with the alarm about a detonation inside the planetary shield of Tombstone Estate.
Setting the course back to Tombstone Estate to investigate the alarm, we had found everything destroyed, vaporized and radiated. It is pretty hard for me to remind the next two hours, all of us were in shocking state, especially Doctor Holliday. Being certain that someone, who has access to nuclear weapons, wants to see us dead, we had made the initial decision to leave to an unknown place.

What I can tell so far about the evidences and facts. I will attach these to this transmission.
We've found out that the Chancellor of the Cambridge University Professor William Mortimer landed at Tombstone Estate for an unscheduled meeting with John Holliday 26 minutes and left the area 2 mins before the explosion. However there is a time gap of landing at Tombstone Estate and his arrival at planet Gran Canaria of about 3 hours. At this time we can only do assumptions about the happenings within this time gap. Recalling these evidences drastically raises the suspicion that we have found the responsible person for the detonation, but the presence of a Correo Corsair freighter vessel, identified being owned by a Corsair named Julio James Cortez in proximity to Tombstone Estate, has added another suspicion person.
There are many scenarios that could have happened, but we aren't ready to assume a responsible person out of the evidence at this point.
At this moment our priority lies into the Consensus organisations Med Forces Enterprises and the Seraphim, who have been already tasked to help civilians leaving the planet, evacuate the areas that is potentially harmed from the fall out of the nuclear detonation.

As the Commanding Officer of the Stirling and de-facto representative of the Bretonian Armed Forces in-system, I was chosen to reply to you and your inquiries.

As it stands, I can confirm the fact that there is an on-going investigation. I can confirm the fact that there was a nuclear detonation on Gran Canaria, at the site known as Tombstone Estate. I can confirm the fact that Chancellor William Mortimer of the Cambridge University is currently missing. I can confirm that I ordered the lock-down with full security measures and increase in military personnel of Port Jackson. I can confirm the fact that the fallout has bled from the original explosion site and we are now looking at a potential 150.000 square km area poisoned by radiation.

There is however a lot of conjectures floating around. John Henry Holliday has failed to communicate in a public fashion since the nuclear detonation, being that the only source of testimony has been Ms. Samson. A corsair transport under a corsair name is also mentioned in a tone that suggest participation, something that the investigation clearly points as very unlikely due to John Henry Holliday open support to the Corsair presence in Gran Canaria. No evidences of the supposed Corsair angle has been provided as of yet. As it stands, conjectures are investigated but they are not facts until proven otherwise.

The rest of the facts are NTK and vital to the investigation.
