Don't know if this one came up already. But i have a question about Commodities. Example Kyushu Rice. I know where to buy my Rice. A Corsair probably not. To help the poor and hungry Corsiar... Is it possible to get a "Buy/sellpoints" or something similar instead of just "Sellpoints"? It's somewhat misleading. In addition to that. Is it possible to get a "Base sells" option like we have at FLStat? Or another color for Bases that sells the Commodity? It is really hard to figure out where to buy stuff right now. You need to klick at a Base to figure out if that Base sells the commodity in question or not. Tsushima or Shinjuku don't sell Rice for example. Or is there a button i just do not notice?

Could this, navmap, and companion all be combined into one single utility?

This is sadly not mobile (Android) viable unless you force desktop mode. Even then the top bar options are poorly aligned and causes misclicks.

Hm. For me it works perfectly fine with an Android phone in desktop mode. Using an old phone (Samsung S3 mini) with an old android version though. 4.1.something. And Firefox. I have no problems with the top bar. Nothing is poorly aligned there. Only search, which is top right, is missing i just noticed.

Really cool concept and it looks great. What do you think about making this a general overview tool for Discovery related stuff (-> not only game stats). For example making it show the laws of the houses etc?

This is listed on the base page.

Companion is written in C++, so I'd need to spend a lot of time converting stuff, but it's theoretically possible. Regarding the Navmap, system links in the app already link there, but we could combine them if enough time and effort was put into it, but I don't really see the point. I would be interested in doing FLC in DSCore, but I'm probably not going to do it unless I get assistance from one of the other code devs (or @Its Raisu)

As written in the notes, it's not a responsive design. I'm not a web developer and I don't really know much about responsive designs or how to achieve such things. As stated prior, if anyone is able and willing to fix these things, they can send in a pull request or post it all in a codepen.

I'd only consider this if it was officially requested (or enough people requested such) and there was a clear definition of what was wanted.

Yes. That's what i said here right after the quote you used for your answer:

(02-26-2019, 08:47 PM)xiphos Wrote: It is really hard to figure out where to buy stuff right now. You need to klick at a Base to figure out if that Base sells the commodity in question or not.

If you are looking for the sellpoint for let's say... Emissaries... you need to visit every base listed there to figure out, that Fontainebleau Residence, at position 29, is the best sellpoint. That is 29 klicks just for the bases. You also need to get back to the Emissaries page to get to the next Base. That's a way too many klicks

Yes, this example is, like the rest of the Human Cargo commodoties, extrem and yes, mostly it is just the lowest price at a Commodity that matters. Like at Blood Diamonds or Cardamine. Easy, because you have not much choices anyway. But it's not always the lowest price, that is interesting. Especially when you can't dock at the Base with the lowest price like at my first example Kyushu Rice or another example, Black Market Light Arms.

In FLStat you just need to klick at "base sells" to have a quick yes/no overview. That's why i asked if it's possible to get a "Base sells" button or a different color in DSCore. If not. No problem. I will just use FLStat, because right now, DSCore is not accessible enough in the Commodity section. Just my point of view. Don't want to be an annoyance here.

The rest of DSCore is well damn fine and one of the best tools ever introduced at Discovery. Without a doubt.

Love the idea and the look. Great work.

Can I suggest that there is maybe a floating tool. Like u put ur mouse on gold ore and it show u bases that. It and not default bases. It will shorten the amount shown. As well as maybe have a pob tab. That can be taken from the base tutorial. Where u can go look at what is needed to build a base or modules and where to get it from. Like shield module: and below items needed. Maybe a bit much but like there is an option where u can input where u want to build a base, say Omega 5 and gives u a list of what is needed per module and u can select from where u want to get it from so u can see where it can be best to place a base.

Very nice work.
The menu should be sorted somehow logical and not alphabetical.
In the faction relations screen, if you sort by the relation values it does it
by amount and not sorting positive values above 0 and negative values
under 0.

The weapons section could use a column for refire.
