Because nobody ever informed us.

We had been told, "here's the Olympia, do what thou wilt." It's another textbook example of miscommunication making everyone look bad. Fortunately Shooter was pretty accomdating and is evidently cool with the change in story regarding the Olympia.

did you contact and communicate with the factions involved and informed yourself on the aspects of the changes you make? plain curiosity - yes or no - because i doubt you would agree with getting messaged about everything a faction wants and does

Rip. Maybe replace the Olympia with a BAF Carrier and re-write a few things then. Well, overall it was a clear case of lacking communication. Happens but can be fixed afterall.
