What is the legal way of cash/items transfers?

Is there a proper and fully legal way of transfering cash/items between your characters without the aid of a second player?

You can use two computers for this, I believe, as long as you make it fast. Also, don't do it while the server is at its peak.. try when there's 80 people or less.

And if you do this "drop trading", make sure you have your radar set to "loot", and verify the stuff you dropped is indeed sitting in space, before logging out. It can take several seconds between jettison and the things exiting your ship's hold. The number of people who have logged out too soon and lost expensive stuff....

The other problem with drop trading is F1'ing in space takes 60 seconds, unless you dock with a base. Both introduce a time delay and inherent risks.

...Unless you use different accounts. Find someplace quiet where both characters are... (next to a base that no one uses, for example)... drop the stuff, F1, select a different account, and go right back in. You'll be able to see yourself sitting there:laugh:

Nik did say without the aid of a second player.. so why are you guys volunteering?? Anyways.. the drop and tractor is legal Nik.. Thats why there are credit cards on sale on every base.. Just need to be quick in swapping characters and you'll be fine..

i suggest not even trying this. I lost a supernova antimatter cannon trying to space transfer it from one character to another. The server has a habit of deleting things in space when nobody is around.
