Background

With skyrocketing prices for Artifacts in Gallia, the Custodi has decided to drastically increase the frequency of Artifact smuggling from Planet Knossos to their new Customers in Gallia. The Core, who dislike the trading of Artifacts when not having a cut of the profit, received information about the large amount of Transports in the Omicron Xi system and decided to send a Task-force to try to take over the trading within the system.

The Corsair forces receive an emergency-call of a Custodian transporting-group that was ambushed by a wing of Core-forces near the North Aegean Nebula. As a result, the Corsair forces decide to bring all the forces they can spare to the last known location of the transport, only to find a large group of Core-forces as well as the wreckages of the Custodian transports and their few escorts.
